I see a lot about kids having kids on this site, and a lot of it seems to be about placating and reassuring that it will all be OK. It's not OK. Kids born to teenage mothers are more likely to grow up in single parent households, more likely to commit crimes, less likely to graduate high school and go to college. Teen parents are more likely to work lower paying jobs, have to work multiple jobs and are less likely go to college, let alone graduate. I'm not a prudish republican whacko, I just think that society should do everything it can to discourage and shun teenage parents. I'm not even against teen sex. Enjoy your youth! Bang away! Use birth control (both guys and girls) every time, no exceptions. When you've reached your life goals and have been married to the same person for three or four years, then have a kid. Having one when you're still in high school is just immature and shortsighted.

My man of 6 yrs was going back & forth w/ another b^itch on myspace. We went out of town for a weekend & when we got back he sent her a text "I MISSED U A LOT MAMI." I was VERY upset but he says I overreacted cause he was not physically cheating. I consider this emotional cheating but he basically thinks he can say/do anything as long as he's not physically doing anything he's not cheating. He swears he had no feelings for her but I feel otherwise cause of their exhanges on myspace (a week later she emailed him "I see how you are, you must have a lady. You don't bring me to your house? That's wrong, I ain't stupid you know, if you got a lady just let me know i'm a big girl! I DO NOT want to be wasting my time if it's all just gona go to sh^t anyway!" He says he loves me & wants to be together & I do too but it's hard cause we do nothing but fight about this anymore. We were supposed to get married before this b^tch came around. We have a 2-yr-old & wanted more before I found him out...

Well, this theres this girl in my class that I really like, as in the perfect girl for me. I've liked her for a long time. And all I do is show her how good of a guy I would be to have as a boyfriend, unlike a lot of the other idiot guys in my grade. Well, I found out that for some reason, I creep her out. And honestly it really hurt when I found that out. I have never done anything remotely creepyish. But even though she said this, I still can't get over her, I still have feelings for her. And when I tried to confront her about what I heard she avoided the conversation. What does that mean and what should I do? I really do like this girl, and I swear to God my life would be nothing without her.

I was recently contact by an old female friend. She sent me a text message and a few days later an email. All the txt and email said was "I have to tell you something." I replied back to both but I did not get an response. A week later I got the same text message, I replied back and still did not get a response. Last night, a little over a week from the orginal text, I got a response. This female stated that she was pregnant and I was the baby's father. I did have sexual relations with this females over 6 months ago and have not spoken or seen her since. She also stated that she is 25 weeks and could not get an abortion. Where I am confused as to why it took her so long to contact me? Why tell someone this over a text message, was this not important enough for phone call? My real issue is what should I do? If I am really the father of this child, which I had no intentions of because I do not even know this girl only by a phone number. Should I believe her? I fear I may the father.

I'm facing a dilemma here y'all. I have a wonderful 17 year old son named Stuart who works after school and weekends at the Wee Wok Chinese restaurant in the town where we live. He's a sweet boy who's had self esteem issues and due to his obesity and acne problem.

Well, I came across his diary this morning and had a peek. Stuart wrote that he likes to masturbate into the bucket of soup they have in the fridge at the restaurant. He wrote that he sneeks the bucket of egg drop soup into the bathroom in the back and will masturbate into it.

I'm not sure what to do. He's a sweet boy, and this job has been wonderful for him. I don't want to say anything to him because I don't want to embarrass him and I don't want him to lose his job.

And besides, I don't think anybody would notice anyway because egg drop soup has them white stringy things floating around in it anyway. What people don't know won't hurt em. What should I do?

i went to an electrical shop for a refund. He gave me a refund, and called me at home.He phoned to ask if i had solved my "problem "and when i asked why he put the phone down very quickly, saying he would call me back, but i was on the phone to my mum straight after because she called me. friend and his wife trying to set me up with his sister. . they are mostly doing it to get her off the bad guys and with a good one. Problem is she is a nice person but I am not attracted to her. I did not want to offend them nor her so I told them I don't date friends sisters because of ramifications that could happen if relationship goes bad. This is a rule I do stick to, but was not main reason i graciously refused. Is is ok to feel guilty for not being 100% truthfull?

When i asked my ex for her proper name, he told me it was none of my business. The kids only know her first name. I have always thought it sloppy to send a , "hey you, thanks for the gift" kind of note. but if he wont tell me her last name, should i send an improperly addressed thank you note? or should i just let a verbal thanks stand.

That seems like a lot to me... and I am hoping that its not the going percentage in todays world. If so we have a lot of sicko men around!! My parents are getting divorced...my dad already introduced the paper for the divorce, my concern is that my mom is very sick, she cant work, sometimes she can even stand up for herself, he says that he is going to help her with her expences, i cant help her because what i earn is just for my school. do we have to get a lawyer to help us on that??, im sure he is just going to give her money for the first two months and thats it. they've been married for more than 25 years i dont know how that is in the state of florida. help???

OK- My best friend lives with her boyfriend, they have been together around 3 years. They are the model couple. I am close with both of them.
Today she went home, and went to go online, and a few of his IM's were left up on the computer. She read them. They were conversations with girls. One of them was extreme flirting and him saying "so do you want me to come over?" As well as other light "sex talk".Apparently, it sounded like a serious conversation, from what she read.
She confronted him about them, and he swears that he was just joking around with some old friends he hasn't talked to in a while. He does have a lot of girl FRIENDS that he is flirtatious with, but he does NOT seem the type to cheat. I know him really well.
He called me and is really upset. I think he shouldn't have been talking like that to other girls, but I don't think he is cheating, do you?

My guy is a very goal oriented person and super competitive. Sometimes I think I am too sensitive and that he is too tough or "macho".
