my dad married this woman...he was still married to my mom...he's undergoing chemotherapy, she has power to end his life if he's not coherant.....legally, if she signed with his last name, would it be valid......

Hi I am 37 years old and was adopted when I was two,I don;t remeber my birth parents as a child.But as I got older I was able to meet my birth mom,I have a son now to,but my mom doesnt understand why i wont have much to do with her,its not that i dont care about her its just that i look at my adopted parents as my parents and i have more of a bond with them.my question is do any other adopted kids feel this way,and what kind of relationship do you have with your birth parents?

Hi, I've been through a couple serious relationships in the past, even been married for a year before. But I've been in a great relationship for the past eight month, yet we've had our downs too. We didn't have any money to work with. So I lived in a car. But not considering any of that, I love him more than anything. I am inlove for the first time in my life, he's great to me. We've been apart for the past two months now. We miss each other tremendously. But We're not perfect, and he's hurt me at times too. While being down here with my family, saving money for a place together. Well I got rehired, at a local Burger King, and now this is where I'm so confused, and need some serious advice and help, can't do this on my own, at all. I met this guy named Donn. He's great, we have alot of fun. He just one night kissed me, and we've been falling inlove ever since. I am now stuck, cause I've got two guys I am inlove with, crazy about, dont want lose either. But can only have one. Help!

I just got into a new relationship and my boyfriend is amazing. I am so scared I am gonna push him away I got hurt really bad by my first love which I know most of the time happens. My husband has a habit that has eaten away at him for 2 years and is now starting to hurt our marriage. Is there any way to encourage him to seek help without further hurting us and still telling him I love him? While I would rather not be more specific on a public forum, it is something that affects only him except very recently, and the recent turn of events that affect our marriage will hurt him far more than me. He needs some kind of intervention or something. I am committed to him, but I don't even like to be around him anymore because of this.

there this bank teller i been seening from over 2 years we always did small talk, because we met at a store she early worked, after a year/ half I finually did ask her out(so sure), she said no,most hurt. I every felt, (didnt visit her for a year broken comfidence) went back so happy to see me,(we allway when leaving look into each other eyes for 2-3secounds till now )??) but never ask her again (playing safe), after a year, she left,seen her a year later, diffrent branch super happy to see me,told me she only there for a little while,allways glanceing at meand that look (a pout) when iam there,left a week, only to tranfer there to stay,so Im so sure again (idiot) ask her today if she is seening anyone? and she say yes??oooo.....?????not going to see her again, but she a nice girl so the only logic thing is my brain is warped. trying not but ,this girl is going to send me into another tail spin. clearer mind?

I am a 26 year old woman who has been in a relationship for a little over 3 years. He moved out recently because he said I did not trust him and he wanted to be able to go out when he felt like it. One night while my boyfriend and I were playing pool at a friend's, his sister leaned over to take her turn at the pool table and it happened to be right in front over where my boyfriend was sitting, in an attempt to, I think distract her from making the shot he was kinda rubbing up her skirt with a pool stick.He was pretty wasted at the time. Her boyfriend and a bunch of other people were standing right there but none seemed weirded out by it. I WAS!! Do you think that's weird? So here's the story... I have a 17 year old cousin that is almost like a little sister to me. Problem is.. the last couple of years she has really weirded out on me. She very much likes the whole emo style and has turned to liking and drawing some questionable material (for example pin-ups, bloody things, tattoos, piercings, suicide girls, etc.) I even found a photograph of her kissing another girl on one of those popular art sites. I always thought of her as a really sweet girl, with strong moral character, bubbly and happy, and now I feel like I'm losing her to the garbage of society. I sometimes want to confront her about it, but then I back off thinking it would probably want to make her rebel even more. Do you think she'll grow out of it? Is there a way I can get her to realize that her new interests are unhealthy, vulgar and immoral? I've shed a lot of tears worrying about her and being very disappointed... but I guess it's *somewhat* normal teenage stuff.
