It truly is not falling, but seems to be a thing of intimacy, measured by closeness, defined as deep. Now, this would be a long way to fall, since some love is described as deep as the oceans. It could easily refer to those who truly have fallen for love, or, leaped, as in lover's leap. These thoughtless few leaped from the edge of a cliff to their death. We talk about being head over heels for someone, another expression for falling, which could be the goofiness involved in love affairs. It seems, the more you love, the more intimate you become, or the closer you seem to be to a person.

ever had a free fall.i have done para jumping and have done free falling.u feel ur heart has stopped beating ! the excitement is beyond the capability of words.theres is joy in falling too.may be a parajumper used the word 'falling' for being in love (and we followed ) coz u feel the similar excitement and that sweet pain .may u can discover a new word for it !
