My wife's family is very protective. I don't have family so we spend 100% of the time with them. The only time we fight is when we are with her family. They side with her when we have an issue. My wife sides with her family when I have an issue. I guess they are all just trying to be protective but it backs me into a wall and I get defensive. I guess my only option is to keep this in mind when I speak but I am outgoing and tend to speak with whatever is on my mind. No idea how to approach this other than asking my wife for her to support me.

Ok...so here's the thing....I'm gonna be 20 in less than 6 months and I'm in love with my high school sweetheart and have been for a good while. I'm dating him Again* (We broke up back in Jan. b/c of our parents and it was just hell) Well we got back together and his parents hate me and mine hate him. BIG happy family...right?! Well...Last monday I sent him a text saying we're done b/c 1..he pissed me off b/c while I was sick like major he never called! and 2..parents would be happy. Well I messed up trying to please my parents again instead of thinking bout me first...its my relationship...do it for me not them right? Wel...I spent all day yesterday with him and he apollogized and it was like we never broke up (even 4 a week). Well my problem is...how do I tell my parents that ummm 'hey! guess what! i'm still dating mike!' When I know they're going to hate me. I don't know what to do. Please help me...I'm so frustrated and I'm get'n nowhere fast!

I have been dating this lady for 7 months she has one son 19 I have two 16 and 13.
When we first started talking she ask me why I didn't date anyone I told her because of the kids she said yes, I know same here. Now 7 months later I am about get custody of my youngest. We had talked about marriage and life together as a family. Now in the past month or so she has become very distant with me whenever I have my youngest son, older one does his own thing most of the time. Never around, neither is her son in school. She told me the other day that "You, made a family with your ex-wife and at best I will only be an addendum to that" She now says that she thinks we should wait until he is out of school to get married that is 6 years. And only want to see me when I don't have him.
I love her very much and feel like I am in a no win situation. I have been divorced for 8 plus years and have dated very few times because of this very thing. I love my kids and will always be a dad no matter what.

When do you tell your significant other I love you? As a girl, should you wait for them to tell you first? Can you say it too much? Can saying it too early ruin a relationship?

That if you have been with someone for so long they get to be very comfortable. I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years and anymore he spends more time with his online poker and this one friend (thats a male) then with me. He knows that I don't want anyone eles. and I know he's not cheating on me.. I trust him with all my heart. I just think he is sorta takin advantage of me because he knows i'm not goin anywhere so he can do what he feels like.. any sugestions? I get responses to my personals ad and I'm reading their profile and all sounds good and then there comes that standard line that every guy seems to put into their ad. I don't think I come across at all as a biker chick. I hate motorcycles and always wear skirts anyway so why would i want to ride a motorcycle. They look kinda trashy to me. I dont' see that many businessmen and classy men riding motorcycles. I think a guy in his 50's or 60's looks ridiculous on a motorcycle. The minute I see that in a profile, I press delete. Not interested in becoming a nurse to some guy injured in a motorcycle accident which happens in my city every day almost.

This guy i like uses to wear lot of rings and so, but where we live is not good seen to wear so many, so his cousin told him and he just left one, the ring was a present from his ex gf.
When i asked if he still was in love with her he said in love?? no!! it was just a big crush. From what i know, they dated for 3 years, at high school. so dont know cos now he is 23, although he says she is her best friend, when i asked if he was going to see her he said no, if she is not in the city im.
