When do you tell your significant other I love you? As a girl, should you wait for them to tell you first? Can you say it too much? Can saying it too early ruin a relationship?
My bf and I have been dating for about four months now...I feel love when I'm around him, but cannot bring myself to say it....Is it possible to never say it and have a good relationship? or do people eventually expect to hear the L word

He's told me he wants to grow old with me, and last weekend we went to a wedding...we got back to his house, he looked at me and said "so did we just get married?"

the immature men will run away or use it as an opportunity to use you but a man who is in it for the long haul would eventually like to hear it. you could be a modern day woman and tell him first or you could wait.

I think you should say it because it is what YOU feel. But, you need to be prepared for the fact that he may not be ready for that. This game of waiting until the other person says it or you know for sure the other person feels it is just that - a game. Life is too short. It's also the only way you'll be able to move from where you are to a place of honesty and openness. Sure it means you are being vulnerable, but come on, don't you want to know if the guy loves you back or if there's even a possibility?

I think girls should never say the L word...
But you would know if your bf loves you or not, by how he reacts on you. How he calls you, how he talks to you, see you...
So you can wait. Wait till atleast, 6 months passes.
If he's the same with you, all over you, than you should maybe address the word.

what does the L word (love) mean to you ? for many it can mean different things. for me i take is to heart i dont thouw that kinda of feelings around to anyone when i say it love to some one its because i mean it. is this guy the guy you want to be with for a while ? it so tell him how you feel . is this guy only goin to be in your life for a little while is so see where is goes . dont get hurt if your dont have to you will know the time is right when it happens be care and it you really mean it and you think he does to then say it if not dont . if you love him then saying should not be so heard.

well being a girl i would prefer him to say it first. but that depends on the type of guy u got. oh yea it can get annoying to some guys if ur continuously telling them u love them , they may even think ur obsess with them.its not possible. i mean you can go for long without saying it but the partner is gonna realize especially if he/she is saying it. its expect as long as the relationship is a good one.

well,its absolutely fine for a girl to expree her feelings if she deeply and truly feels so towards the guy she loves.....love is a wonderful gift you can ever give someone...
and i belive if you love someone you shuld go and tell it straight before its too late and get to know his feelings too cos thats very important,you cant keep loving someone who is not even aware and who does not love you in return,so go ahead and say it now!!good luck!!

4 months? yeah u probably r in luv and dont wait...u have nothing to if u luv him then tell him...i'm sure he does too and if not at least he knows and that'll really get to him....just tell him. oh yeah and no u cant say it too much.

Yes always wait for him to say it first .cause if you dont he will think he will think sence you love him he got you where he wants you .so let him say it first then you got him where you want him !!!!
