a thousand miles away} has run into some major problems.

Her mother never was a good parent, but she has recently taken the cake. They're not well off; my friend was relying on a loan which would have deferred the payments until she graduated from college. Her mother cosigned.

Some signals got crossed, as they have to start paying in the second semester. The mother has decided she'll have no part of it, which leaves the girl without the money to continue her schooling.

There is no other financial option, aside from impressing her story on the aid department. They turned her down for their student loan, as did the banks.

What can I say to try and help her through this situation? I've never been in this kind of position. Any practical advice I can give her? Perhaps possible financial ideas? Emotional comfort?

My Boyfriend and I have been together for 9 years. We have 2 kids 5 and 2. Lately my 5 year old is asking everyone if they are married, then wants to know why we are not. We tell that we love eachother and that's all that matters?
So my question is there anymore I can say, or just keep telling her that we're happy and love eachother?

My best freind of 17 years is in an emotionally abusive relationship. She has been for 12 years. THey have three boys together. He us very controlling. She cant really leave the house accept to go to work and when she does get out on teh premis to run errands he will call her every ten minutes to see that she is where she is supposed to be. Then he will drive around to see if her car is where it is. If she takes to long, he'll call and say that if she doesn't come right home he is calling DHS to tell them that she has abandoned the kids. I moved her closer to me 2000 miles away from him and he followed her and hasnt left. I know that he has a warrant out for his arrest in another state and I have been thinking about turning him in. But friends have said the police can't just go pick him up unless they have probable cause. If he does get caught he is looking at 10 years and I know that this is the only way for her to get away from him. Shes staid so long for the kids sake.

my wife is a "ait" in the army. well she started getting im's form my ex's that i was sleeping with them which she knew was a lie cause 1) i dont have a car (anymore) 2)they have been talk **** since weve been married. 3) i play my xbox 360 too much to worry about sex. so it never bugged her before will she swear up and down she didnt beleve it well that weekend her and her two g/f's were going clubing well after they got an hotel she told me that one of her firends were upset and wanna get drunk and possable sex so i argeed then at about 3 am she calls me and said the there three guys here two of them are str8 one is gay and the two guys were thier with her friends and the gay guyu joined with one of the girls. well, that moring she was dyeing her hair and got some dye in her eyes and rushed to the bathroom she knew someone was in the shower but didnt bother asking who and she got in the shower and washed her eyes out and later found out the gay guy was there.....

My gf and I just broke up. She said that lately I've been really negative about everything and really sarcastic. I tend to be sarcastic whenever i joke around. I know that I'm negative because i hate to be disappointed. If I look at the bad side of things, then i feel like i will never be disappointed. I'm trying to sincerely change that, but I don't know where I get it from. I know that my dad is part of it because he has always been a negative person, but I feel like that's not all. My best friend passed away tragically and suddenly a few years ago, and it seems that since then, I've been negative because I'm afraid of being disappointed by how things turn out. If I can imagine something bad happening as a possibilty, then I won't be so surprised if it happens. I guess my question is...do you think that my best friend's death could have triggered my negativity, or am I just blowing air. And how can i change my ways?

My friend (Bill) got married this summer to a real b***ch. Ever since he met this girl all of his friends have disliked her. My friends and I have never told him how we feel about her. Now that he is married he wants us to stop by his house and hang out. Nobody wants to go to his house because of her. She tends to talk down to him when we are there and she is always trying to start some drama ( for attention). I cant stand being around her and therefore I am being forced to slowly withdraw from my friendship. All of my friends feel the same way about her. I am running out of excuses of why I can't hang out with him. What should i do? Should I ever tell him how I feel about her or just keep quiet and let time take its course?
