there has been a lot of research into this.
nature vs. nurture.
the bell curve authors said that genetics were paramount, bf skinner said environment.
I am sure it is a mix of the two.

i dont know about proof, but we are definatly a genetic make up of our ancesters, and feel the way we do because of where we came from, along with our own spirit of course.If you look at your kids or your parents, parents if you see similarities, manerism, the same, why not behavioral paterns, look at your family, uncle aunts gramma grampa,and if you are an orphan look at yourself and know there are a few people out there that are a lot like you!!

yes, they are now finding out about certain genes that link genetics to mental illness, addiction, things like that.....

That is one of the reasons why scientists run identical twin studies.
