I just came home from Iraq and this guy keeps calling and texting my wife. She said their just friends and so does he. We were driving one day when this text comes in "u leaving me" To Me you have to be with someone to leave some one. She said its harmless, what do you think?

i would think she cheated on you while you were gone and now that you are home he is wondering if shes leaving him now because your home now.

Go with your gut, man! If you think, under the circumstances, that those messages are NOT harmless, then they're not. Only you can decide if you're getting the truth out of her about it. Question is: What do you really want? If she cheated while you were gone but wants to end it now that you're back, can you live with that and move on with her?
My second wife cheated on me with an ex. She said it would never happen again. I tried to hang in there. Ultimately, I couldn't. Almost 20 years later, I still think I was the one who crapped out in that marriage. Maybe that's just me. GOOD LUCK!

It wasn't harmless. I believe, and I am sorry to tell you that while you were figthing for our country, she was flirting with the enemy. I would ask her directly and tell her to stop lying. If you love her forgive her, if you cannot forgive get out of the situation. I know that people say once a cheater always a cheater, but do not believe it, I am proof that you can make a mistake once and never, never do it again. I will leave you to think now, you are the only one that can make the final decision. Best of luck and God bless.
p.s. A last thought, this happened to our mariage 20 years ago. He forgave me and here still we are. He was in Germany in the Air Force. Think of this this way just like you got lonely and did not act on it, she was lonely too. Think things thorougly and calmly, and then make your decision. Sometimes love can survive anything.

Sorry but your wife is screwing around! I am sorry that this happened to you especially after you were over in Irac and doing such a great thing for your wife and your country! You don't deserve to be treated like this. If this woman really loved you should would be proud of you and stand by you not screw around on you when your gone! Leave her!

I'm sorry, but I think she was unfaithful to you. Out of respect to you she or he should end whatever it is that's going on. You are home now, and if your marriage is worth saving, she should put all of her effort into it. I can't imagine being home from Iraq and having to deal with this issue. You are in my thoughts.

i had a guy who was a little off who had it in his mind we could be more than friends he wanted to be my bf
we never kissed or had sex but in his mind we were together
so she maybe tellling the truth but if she is with you
the guy friend needs to be kicked to the curb
men friends with married women are not a good match and only lead to trouble

sounds like your girl wasn't very lonely while you were gone. i do agree though.--you do have to be with someone to leave someone. and i dont think he was talking about work. they are more than just friends. confront her about it again and threaten her by saying you'll divorce her. you need her to be honest with you so your relationship will survive. it is so important.
