Well, b/c my friend said she would change b/c she didn't want to be the same girl that always got into trouble; she said she wanted to be like me!!! Do better at school & no messing w/ guys...what do u think?

Of course a person can change, people change every day.
The change is either positive or neg. You must be a good role model for her. Just be careful that this person does not drain you emotionally.
this person must help themselves, you can not do it for them.

Yes, people can and do change. If someone recognizes the error of their ways, they can change themselves for the better, if they so desire.
We tend to make the mistake of thinking we can change people. People can only change themselves... not others. We may can have a small part influencing change.

Any one can change in a good way.
You also need to hang out with nice people, stay away from gangster, it's tough but you can do it.
The best way is to go to church you can have nice new friends there.

Someone can change in a short amount of time but it all depends on how determined they are and if they could brak the habit.

Ofcourse it's possible for people to change. Whether or not she's capable of doing it isn't something you should concern yourself with. If she can, that's great, but even if she can't it's not a good idea to discourage her since she's atleast 'trying'.

I used to be pretty much a slut. until i deceided to change my image and self comcept.
it worked and everybody loves me 10 times more because if it.

Yes some people can change in a good way. IF THEY REALLY AND TRUELY WANT TO CHANGE. it is very possible.
