You need to let your Mom be a person. Everyone has emotional and even physical needs. Every adult needs adult companionship at times just as every teen needs companionship with other teens. Do you tell your mom every time you talk to a friend or every time you talk to a boy? Besides being your Mom she is a person also. She probably spends her life devoted to caring for you and your needs and your wants. Not because she has to but because she wants to.You may be jealous but believe me there is no person on the face of this whole big earth that can take the love a mother has for her child away. You are a part of her and you are imbedded into the core of her heart and soul. Please be nice to her and let her live a little and have a little fun. Being faced with the life chalenges of a single parent are though. Be suportive of her she has feelings just like you do and needs like everyone else has. So, lighten up a little and don't worrie noone will take your place in her life she will love you for all eternity. Be mature about things and be there for her but don't smother her. You aren't a 2 year old and you are old enough to understand that she wont love her any less just because she has other people in her life. Does it make you love her less if you have other people in your life?

Your Mom has every right to date, and I'm sorry to tell you this but she does not have to check with you if to see if you are ok with it. I'm sure that your Dad has not pined away for 3 years. You should want your mom to be happy. You did not say how old you were but you have your life to live and your mom deserves to have hers also.

Since when does your mother need your permission to date? Actually she should never bring a man home unless they are serious about each other. Why would you want to know all the men that are doing your mama? Go do your homework.

I know it is tough, but mom just needs some adult male companionship.
Dont forget that she really cares for you. She just needs the kind of care and love that you cannot provide for her.

I wonder sweety if you are really mad that she is dating someone and didn't tell you or if you are more afraid of losing her...
Time goes by so fast.. and soon you will be on your own and she will be alone if she does not find someone to love her and someone to love..... Live is harder when you are a grown up.. and grown ups can not please everyone all the time and forget to please them selves.
