I quote again from the great prophet, Leopold "Butters" Stotch:

"Yeah, I'm sad, but at the same time, I'm really happy that something could make me feel that sad. It makes me feel alive. It makes me feel human. The only way I could feel this sad now is if I felt something really good before. So I have to take the bad with the good. So I guess what I'm feeling is like a beautiful sadness."

Enjoy the good times while they are happening - attempt to survive when the bad times are going on, until the good times come around again.

Remember that you are becoming a stronger not in spite of, but because the struggle you are facing now.

Also, in 5 years, it won't even matter.

Anything so important ties into the core of our being. Our capacitiy for love is only dictated by our capacity for pain. The deeper you love, the more vulnerable you become and the greater pain when you feel loss. It goes hand in hand. Lord Tennyson said, "it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all."

Has anyone really loved without pain? If so, I question whether they really loved or not. It's just the way life is.
