Hello…I owe a friend of mine a couple of thousand dollars. We were having a discussion the other day about this debt and how I didn’t have the cash to pay him back yet. He then proceeded to offer to get me some cement shoes. I feel bad because I already owe him a lot of money and he is offering to buy me a gift as well. I tried turning him down, but he is insistent that the next time we meet, he will have them for me. How do I turn down this generous offer without offending him?

I'm 14 and I like a guy who is 16. a month before school started we talked everyday on myspace. then we hung out a couple times. it was obvious we both liked each other alot. we madeout a couple times (just kissing) & everything seemed to be great. the night before school started he asked me to be his gf. but later that night he said he thought maybe he had made a decision to soon & we should hang out a few more times. i was like "ok". we kept talking on myspace & we hung out once more. i could tell he really liked me. but after that he told me he felt really bad but he thought i was too young & he didn't feel right & we should just be friends. he also said he felt wierd around my brother (who is also a junior). they know each other but arn't good friends. i am so hurt. i have had friends tell me he still likes me but i don't know if its true. i think he is embarrassed because all his friends have gf who are the same age. how can i help him get over this fear so we can be together?

A woman that both my husband and I know from a few years back and were friends with, along with her husband has been recently widowed (her husband died late last year) is now calling my husband on a regular basis.

It all started about 4months ago when she started working at a small cafe he went to occasionally for lunch during work. She ended up losing that job and due to money problems had to move. Feeling bad for her he has also done a few small things to help her out like replacing a bad faucet. (He does this for others too.).But since then she calls him with all kinds of excuses to get him to come over.

Last night she called, let it ring once and then hung up, then didn't answer the phone when he called back. So, he went over to see what she wanted. She said she was depressed so he invited her over to play cards with us (as he's done many times) but she refused, and I feel as if she's avoiding me. I trust my husband, that's not the issue. But what do I do about her?

My boyfriend and I just recently started dating. Since we're both church-goers, we know that there will be no sex until marriage. What my boyfriend doesn't know is that I have absolutely no interest in sex and would prefer a sexless marriage. My idea of a husband is more of a best friend than a sexual partner. After how many months of dating will it be appropriate to tell him this? I don't want to randomly talk about sex before we're close enough, but I don't want us to be too close that (assuming he'd back off) breaking up would hurt too much.

Also, assuming he didn't back off even after I told him this, would it be fair for him to never know what sex is like?

Alright some time ago...i met this guy on the net..not my type in looks but his personality is great...funny truthful honest (as i thought) he tells me hes with someone but he always ends up with me on his mind...so we start talking and i hear him telling me that im like the "coolest and the best" chick...i thought this was going good...but a month later my phone had been turned off..i tried communaciting with him..but he just doesnt respond back...he made it seem like i was everything...how can someone just forget so ez when it was so great?..how am i supposed to react?>>i got over him i just dont get how guys can lie so easy..and make it harder on us to find someone else..

when me n my husband go out with his frds he is more worried if they r comfortable & are having good fun ,especially their wives. i feel left out. we have talked about it but it hasnt helped. eg; i say i want to go rita's and his frds wife wants to go brusters. he say lets go to brusters.this is just an example but small things like this has made me very sad and depressed. he says i m making big deal out of nothing.am i?? its even spoiling our relation now.
