I'm 14 and I like a guy who is 16. a month before school started we talked everyday on myspace. then we hung out a couple times. it was obvious we both liked each other alot. we madeout a couple times (just kissing) & everything seemed to be great. the night before school started he asked me to be his gf. but later that night he said he thought maybe he had made a decision to soon & we should hang out a few more times. i was like "ok". we kept talking on myspace & we hung out once more. i could tell he really liked me. but after that he told me he felt really bad but he thought i was too young & he didn't feel right & we should just be friends. he also said he felt wierd around my brother (who is also a junior). they know each other but arn't good friends. i am so hurt. i have had friends tell me he still likes me but i don't know if its true. i think he is embarrassed because all his friends have gf who are the same age. how can i help him get over this fear so we can be together?

You will notice when you get older the age differance isn't the same any more. You will have guys that want to talk to you when you are 21 and they are 26

i had the same problem. last year when i was 14 i liked a guy who was 18. i could tell he liked me as well. but we didn't talk to each other. and my brother knew or knows him. he said he forgot. lol stupid brother. and i have a sister the same age as him. i didn't want to like him because he was too old. and was barley entering high school. and he was all most getting out of high school. i went to my sisters graduation he was their and he kept looking at me. but this time i ignored him. i pretended that he wasn't even there. and that was the last time i saw him. now i don't think of him. i think of a different guy who is 15 like me. but I would like for him to be older. at lest one year older.
you should tell him that it doesn't matter about age. he likes you. and age shouldn't effect your relationship.

If u ask me I think that he is the 1 that is 2 young or should I say immature. If he liks u y should he cares wat oters think or want 2 say a/b u & him. I think that if he really liks u he will come around. He may not come around as fast as u want him 2 bc he is a guy but if he doesnt then u can move on. Just keep in mind that it is not ur fault & u can not b in control of wat others think & fell. Good luck wit every thing. Plus u can think of it this way u both shouldnt b thinkin a/b a relationship at this age.

...if he does like you he should be with you 2 years is not a big difference at all u guys should be together...i'm 19 and my boyfriend is 25 and we go great together i love him so much...you guys could end up the same way if u give it a chance
