What do Chinese boys look for in a girl?

James R: It's true it mostly depends on the person, but there must be something general as well. American boys, for example, generally look at certain body parts before they decide a girl is attractive. What do most Chinese boys first consider?

Poise and Beauty? I would think these traits would be attractive in a girl. But, Honesty and Pureness of heart should be the main traits.

This, and all questions like it, can be best answered by "It depends on the person". Just because he's Chinese doesn't mean he's going to be looking for a specific thing in a girl. This is like asking "what are Chinese boys' favorite foods or flavors".

Today it depends, if you are in the extreme west like tibet then they may want a country girl but if they have access to western media they may want a european model looking asian girl. Which is hard to find their. In the countryside, they will want the traditional girl. Tiny, not taller than them. Not of a dark complexion. A daughter who listens to her family first. they may want her more educated, depending on the progressiveness of the family. On the coast is where the diversity reigns. If it is of the chinese bourgeiose, they will want tall, yellow skinned not dark, educated, from money. The problem will be if he is conservative, where the girl must be more traditional in dress , or liberal where she should be in hilfiger jeans and purple hair.
If the boy comes from the coast and is poor he will want the countryside girl but she doesnt have to be a homebody, she can be more industrious.
Any chinese boy outside of china will usually base his desires on where he comes from or his family comes from in china.

im a chinese, all my ex-bfs are chinese, my current bf is chinese, i speak mandarin, im from typical chinese tradition family. (though im not from china..)

chinese boys will prefer (not generalising) girls who tk cares of the family, be more independent, virgins.. (though not everyone really care.. is jus that we do not say~)

those typical, quiet, shy, humble, modest, virtue as wife, not goin around n gossip, loud, rough, n esp pride~ like, if there is anything bad u wan to say, do it back at home! not infront of others..
