my ex and i were together for a year and a half and he was cheating on me with another girl who he says he met before me. He still says he loves me and i love him i just don't trust him. he says his relationship with her is about comfort and with me it's love. so when do you forgive and should you forgive something like this?

I'm just being honest with myself. I don't like fat woman. I'm sure you have a specific criteria to meeting men/woman but does that make you a loser? If you are free of sin cast the first stone.

OK, lemme set this up. This is the greatest feeling.

Picture: You're badly in need of a shower. It's been awhile and you're slimy & scummy. Perhaps you took a steamy (BEEP!) earlier and it was such an UNclean break that the President had the area around your toilet declared a disaster and qualified it for federal funding. You're ridiculously tired. Perhaps you pulled an all-nighter last night and your eyes are almost crossing from lack of sleep. You haven't shaved in three weeks and what used to be maddeningly itchy is now painfully sore and prickly. It's winter, and the house is very cold. Your extremities hurt from the chill.

Then: You take a LONG, HOT shower. The hot water never dissipates in the slightest. More soap than you need. You shave in the shower and your face is baby-smooth. Your skin is pink from the water's heat. You lay your face down on a FRESH pillowcase and get under the covers of a warm electric blanket. You could sleep for 30 hours before you're due anywhere.

Okay, my MIL is getting b****y all over again because we can't take a trip to see her this year. Admittedly, it's been 3 years since we traveled from our home (Texas) to where she's at in Georgia. But our not being there had nothing to do with wanting to be there; it's had everything to do with COULDN'T and CAN'T get there because of finances, school, work, surgery...whatever.

Now, we've made the trip numerous times over the years anyway...always by car and will small kids in tow. (The first time we went my son was 6 months old...ugh!) But my MIL (none of my in-laws really) has EVER been to our home...she has NEVER taken the trip for herself, even when we offered to pay for it. She tells us she "doesn't travel" but she went on a cruise a couple years ago and planned to travel by bus to see relatives in Ohio earlier this year.

Are we wrong to be so pissed off, especially when she berates us all the time? Why is it always OUR responsibility to make the journey?

is educated, independent, hard working, and likes to get naked and have fun with scrabble, camping, and horseplay? Is that too much of a possibility for a guy to lose control? insightful answers greatly apreciated, thanks big hugs

I have been chatting since Sept 1996 and have met 10 people, All were great.

What is YOUR story?

Be detailed...I love to hear of other's experiences from this.

I would especially like to hear from over 50ers (is that a word?) but feel free to respond however old you are.

Thanks!

I'll try and make this as detailed and short as possible.
Ok in the beginning of our relationship things were great. Too me i even thought he was moving a little too fast he always wanted to be with me and would get mad if i would do other stuff he pretty much asked me to move in with him, always saying the sweetest stuff, but i liked it.
Now I that i think i'm ready for that commitment things are completely oppostie. He doesn't really want me around ever he treats me completely opposite. He's always on his computer..he yells and scolds me for the littlest things.. when we fight he says the meanest things and critizes me all the time. He's still the sweetest guy but i feel like our relationship has hit a slump and we've only been together for 8 months...

There is this guy at my college who works in the bookstore. The first time I went in there he seemed that he thought I was cute. Well I thought the same thing. Well I usually see him only on Tuesdays in the bookstore I think that is when he works. I don't know his name or anything about him. I am new to this city so I don't know anyone at all besides my mom. Anyways what would be some good ways for me to casually ask him what he is doing, etc... Please help me.

as a confident person in a high profile job, i have found myself getting increasingly jealous of attention shown to my new partner, whilst we are out, supposedly enjoying ourselves. This often causes me to find reason to argue with her, when this is the last thing i want to do as she is a great girl. i havent really been like this before, so why now?
