As a man I appreciate the honesty and KNOW where you're coming from. Women usually have a difficult time understanding how visual a man is because they are not men. And we have a tough time understanding how they view things because we are not women. Having said that, you're really asking the wrong question. Sure, you can look at the mother, but what's to say that she won't gain signficant weight when she becomes the mother to your children? What if she'll NEVER look the same....ever because of that?
That's just reality. No matter who you stay with the physical looks will eventually disappear, are you going to write that you don't like wrinkled women? Are you going to upgrade and dump her once she starts to get overweight? I believe that men and women shouldn't let themselves go just because they get comfortable but you've got to be reasonable. Your question may sound like you're being honest with us and you probably are, but you really are missing the bigger picture here. If that's your attitude and you're that concerned about a woman's weight, then you are not ready to be committed and married.
Really.
A mature, healthy man understands that love goes far beyond the physical boundaries, no matter what Hollywood and Cosmo and Maxim want you to believe otherwise. The fact is if I fall in love with a woman I will love her no matter what. Even if she gets horrible burns in a fire or if she loses her legs or gains weight, especially if its out of her control. If you can't understand that yet, you're not ready to commit to anyone. That's like asking, "before you commit to someone how can you be sure they will never cheat on you or die before you do?"
It's not realistic and it's unreasonable. I'd rather you asked "before I commit to someone, how can I be sure that she is the right one for me and what kind of pre-marital counseling would you recommend so that we both know that are values are in line and that we have a solid foundation to build upon?"
It's amazing how many couples don't get pre-marital counseling which may have prevented unreasonable questions like yours to come to light.

Then you are not commiting yourself into the relationship ... Because sometimes you can not control those type of situations .. pregnancy, health, genetics, depression, etc. If you are commit yourself to someone then you take the person through the good and the bad as time changes.

I believe that their is no way you can find out how a thin woman can become fat in the future unless your on top of what she's eating ... And if you want to make her your future wife you shouldn't care because what matter's is that yall love eachother..

You can't. That's life-you never can tell what the future holds. She may be an athelete with 8% body fat and get into a car accident that makes her less mobile and depressed. For that matter, that could happen to you too. Focus your energies on more substantial and meaningful potentials. Life is too short to focus on things like this. Just be with someone who has healthy habits and takes care of themselves, that's the best you can do.

The easiest way is to fed her a lot of food, see if she become fat or not. Each person has different metabolism.
Some people eat a lot and stay thin, some people eat a little and can't control their weight.
OR:
You can look at her family, see if obesity are common in hers.
But you can't be sure, even if her family are big, she can still be thin when she is old.
Even if her family are thin, she can still be big when she is old.
Guess, you got to look how's her eating habit right now.

There are no guarantees that she won't get fat anymore than there are that YOU won't develop a paunch or go bald. Many women don't like bald men so you had better get a document signed by your barber that you WON'T go bald! No guarantee she won't have to have some kind of disfiguring disease either, or that you won't have, or that your kids will be born perfect, or that you will even be here tomorrow (which wold be a good thing judging from your retarded outlook). No guarantees about anything. Grow up!

You can't. To look at her mother/father is, by no means, proof of how well a person will "hold up" ... so to speak. A human can get their genetics from an ancestor wayyyyy back in their family tree ... a great, great grandmother for instance. To say you can tell by looking at her mother is a fallacy. That would be like saying that you can tell if a person is VAIN (pun intended) ... for instance, by looking at her parents.

How does she know that you aren't ever going to get fat and loose all your teeth and hair? She doesn't. But if you truly love someone then NONE of the physical stuff should matter.

If you truly love someone, you don't care about that. If you are both like-minded about keeping in shape, you don't have to worry about it. If you still insist on commiting to that person anyway, look at her family, especially her mom. You can tell how she'll age from that.
