my on and off bf usually get each other these nice gifts like jewels, polos for him, a watch and so forth. since his b-day and chrsitmas are so close i usually get him one expensive thing. last year i gave him a Kenneth Cole watch(over $100), for Valendtine's Day a cologne and for this Chrismas and his birthday i am having trouble getting him anything. we do not do the gift card thing, i cannot give hin CD's since he has most of the music dowloaded on his laptop, no DVD's since he already downloaded those too. no polos since he has them from Nautica in almost every new style, color and so forth with clothing. i wanted to get him an MP3 but he already bought that . he told me to give him something that will last forever-i know, a picture, that sort of thing. any other ideas about things that guys might want that will last forever?plz help!

My husband is across the country staying with my parents to look for work. I was looking at my husbands email & saw he had downloaded pics off my moms laptop of her naked. They were pics she took for her hubby. I freaked out and am now disgusted by my husbands actions. This goes further than your typical guy looking at porn. I can't tell my mom because they will kick him out and he is job hunting and house hunting there. What would you have said/done? How would you feel? Any advice will be helpful. Thanks.

last night i got home at 1130 but my mom thought i came home at 2 and has been shittin on me all day about it, she wont belive me. and shes been askin me to help out around the house all day but everything i have done shes told me ive done it wrong..like i put my dish and fork in the dishwasher..n instead of saything thank u, she starts yelling at me about how i put the fork in the wrong way. so then i was making plans on IM to hang out with my neighbors tonight and she comes it, starts reading over my shoudl and says I HOPE UR NOT GOING OUT UR NOT ALLOWED BECAUSE U DIDNT DO NE THING I SAID! OMG I FLIPPED i had done everrything she asked but she critisized it. and i needed to go out and get away from her so i went outside ne way...well she got changd out of her pj's and followed me out and then got all nice infront of my friends and said that i was bad and could come out..but i stayed and she got mad, went inside n called the cops on me..who didnt do ne thing cause my mom went gunzo.

I am in a relationship with a man who I know who loves me but we have so many problems. But seriously, the biggest problem we have is about his foot fetish. It is not the fetish itself that causes the problem, it is the expectations he holds with the fetish. He hates sandals and so he requests that I do not wear any open toed shoes, also, he likes sweaty feet so he requests that I keep my shoes on when I am in the house so when we become intimate they will be sweaty. I have tried to meet him half way on this but his need seems to be all of the time. I really love this man, but this problem has become the center focus of our relationship. He fears that I will begin a routine of just taking my shoes off after work without consideration to his needs. This is such a strange thing for me to break off an engagement, but today, that is what it is leading to. Does anybody have any advice on how to save this relationship over this problem?

I asked him was it women in general or mainly Black women. He said mainly Black women because he dates them exclusively. We have been dating for a few months (I am a Black woman and he is Black also). Now that I know that he feels this way, coupled with the fact that the women that he is normally attracted to are extremely light skinned, (I am not light skinned, by the way) it makes me worry. He says that I don't have anything to worry about but, now that he's expressed those views and feelings to me, I feel like this could be something potentially explosive. Do you think that based off of what I know and what he has expressed that my feelings about the situation are valid? I totally understand being cautious and learning from one's mistakes but I just want a fair chance at this relationship and I try to give him the same thing. What do you think?

I wanted to go to an independent study high school and do college on the side. I also wanted to get a job. My parents told me this was a stupid idea and I could do it all while going to a regular high school. I told them that would be too much work and I would fail almost every class.
