I am in a relationship with a man who I know who loves me but we have so many problems. But seriously, the biggest problem we have is about his foot fetish. It is not the fetish itself that causes the problem, it is the expectations he holds with the fetish. He hates sandals and so he requests that I do not wear any open toed shoes, also, he likes sweaty feet so he requests that I keep my shoes on when I am in the house so when we become intimate they will be sweaty. I have tried to meet him half way on this but his need seems to be all of the time. I really love this man, but this problem has become the center focus of our relationship. He fears that I will begin a routine of just taking my shoes off after work without consideration to his needs. This is such a strange thing for me to break off an engagement, but today, that is what it is leading to. Does anybody have any advice on how to save this relationship over this problem?

Go see a therapist. If you love each other, I'm sure you can reach a compromise that works for both of you. If he's just doing all the 'taking' and you're doing all the 'giving' then the relationship will have problems regardless of this foot fetish issue.

How long have you two been together and why is it barley bothering you now. I find it really sick that this is his fetish and YOU are willing to participate. He should get counceling and find out what this fetish means. I have heard of foot fetish but I didnt know it included licking dirty sweaty feet, that is gross!

NO. Me personally not to be rude that is gross. Then on top of it he likes the sweat, thats nasty and I dont understand it but its your man you have to deal wit it. I would tell him that I was turned off from the sweaty feet thing and if he wants to suck toes they have to be clean simple. See a kiss or two with me is fine. SOmeone drooling all over my feet more than me is a turn off and then sweaty on top of it. I am all set,lol
