Due to financial reasons my husbands ex-wife has let their children come live with us and we are enrolling them in school. They had joint custody with her being the custodial parent and him paying support. I realize we can't just stop paying child support now that they will be living with us... I know their has to be something in writing and filed with the court. Does anyone have a suggestion as to the way we can go about the filing of the paperwork without it costing us an arm and leg? Has anyone out there used a paralegal for this type of thing? She initiated this so I don't forsee her fighting it ...

One of my girlfriends friends thinks I am messed up in the head because I have her call me sir or master. I don't think I am because first off, I have the Y chromosome and she doesn't. Secondly, I'm training her to be a good submissive wife this way. Third, I am the man in the relationship and have far superior emotional handling skills than she does and she needs a man to make her decisions for her. Besides its no different than a man calling his girl "princess". Am I wrong here??

I've been working out at my gym for awhile, usually after work during the peak hours from 5-6:30pm. There aren't that many girls that work out at the gym, but the ones I do see on a daily basis are quite attractive. There is one girl that usually works out around the same time that I do. I want to talk to her and ask her out, but it's pretty intimidating to approach a girl at a gym. It seems like most people just want to finish their workout, go home, eat dinner, and relax. Can anyone help me out who have had experience in this area? Thanks

My husband and I just had are first child 2 months ago. She is a handful, and although we are absolutely delighted with her presense- it puts such a strain on our relationship. I just recently started to truly vent to him about the problems in our marriage. And he just blames the new stress of our daughter. It truly isn't. I feel like the lack of intimacy in our home is my fault because, in the past I never brought my worries up. and now I feel like I can't take it anymore and I find myself having breakdowns and screaming at him- then feeling so much remorse that I have compiled every single emotion I have onto him at once. Nothing seems to sink in and I recently told him that maybe we should have a trial seperation. We decided against it and I thought we understood eachother but, now that we are back to our normal lives I feel like we are back at square one and not making any progress. He shows absolutely NO interest in me physically or mentally. I feel like I am living with a friend.

After several failed, messy relationships: parental, husband, boy friend of 6.5 years, betrayal by stepfather, dad walks away from kids and grand kids, bestfriend and mother dies young, care for her mother who dies 4 years later of Alzheimers. Having to be the one to reinforce the DNR orders on both of them, lost my other grandmother and feel like a 35 year old orphan. I don't trust men because of so much betrayal and abandonment. I want to be open for love, but have a steel reinforced band around my heart that leaves me numb. Any advice would be very appreciated!

my girlfriend of 7 years just left me. She says she doesnt know who she is anymore and needs to find herself. its been 2 weeks and she is already talking about an overseas trip with her friends which i previously said she shouldnt do because we just bought a house and moving back down into town with her friends. Every other issue she had with me i have worked on and she even acknowledges my progress but just has nothing left to give to our relationship. I have backed right off and given her space like she wants. Is it possible she will clear her head in time and try and resolve things with me. I just cant believe that our relationship could end so fast with little if any warning?

People keep asking me why I don't have or want a boyfrined, I tell them because I am not ready for the drama of a relationship and quite honestly I am not ready to deal with the responsibility and emotions that come along with having sex; Worrying about std's, pregnancy and all that. Some people even question if im gay or something...just because I never had a boyfriend, but if that's the case I never had a dam girlfriend either. Im not gay, I love men, it's just that I want to wait untill I am truly ready and I want to be married. I can admit that im not ready for that step in life yet..im focused on going to school and reaching my goals before I do anything? What do you guys think? Am I being snooty and stuk up for feeling this way?
