i like a guy a lot. like a lot a lot. and i get to see him tomorow at church. i want to say something to him but what? do you think i should mention a fooball game? he loves football and i saw my first game in my high school dome and he was there. but i dunno if thats a good topic. someone give me a good ice breaker!!!!!

So there's this guy.... I've really liked him for about a year now. We're pretty good friends, too. A lot of people say that I should ask him out. But last year he knew I liked him, but he never said or did anything about it (he didn't let it affect our friendship either, thankfully!) But if he had interest in me, he would have asked me out, right? (Note: He's not the shy type.) That was almost a year ago though.. so I guess things could have changed, and I doubt that he still knows that I like him because I've had another boyfriend in that time period. So I guess I could have a chance with him now, considering we know each other better by now and all.
But if nothing's happened between us for this long... Should I even keep trying?

Well, I have a crush on my best friend but the problem is he's gay, so I know I don't have a chance. I try to move on and not let it bother me but the more I try the less it works. What's worse is that my step-dad won't let me talk to him because he's gay. My friend is really nice and he's one of the only people that would be there for me when I needed someone to talk to. I keep trying to talk to my step dad about how important my friend is to me but that just gets me yelled at. How can I tell my step-dad that gay people are just as normal as everyone else? And what should I do about my crush on my best friend?

I'm writing an editorial on "Old People". I'm in the "Sandwich Generation". I'm helping my aging mother (80yrs) try to be independant as long as possible while I raise my children. It can be hard at times but I believe that one must keep a sense of humor. I'd like to hear some stories/experiences.

My wife suffers from am acute case of rage. It exists through many traumatic issues from her childhood. How do I explain to her that she has an issue with rage and that she needs help and where do I go to get support for myself. This is every bit as painful as dealing with an alcoholic in ones family. She projects all of her feelings and accepts no responsibility for her actions. She is actually a very sweet and loving person but does not understand how much she hurts those around her- especially me.

I work w/ my bfriend- he is the manager & tonitehe didn't like how another female we work w/ dealt w/ a customer so he told her not to do that, and she answered him like, "what the f*** did you want me to say, I gave him the f****** answer he wanted, give me a f****** break!" and then she stormed off. I feel like, omg how the hell does she think she can get away w/ that? So when I asked him what he was going to do about it he was like,"what am I supposed to do? My best friend since the 8th grade (we are in 11th now) has always been really controlling and agressive, but lately she has gotten much worse, to the point where I actually have to lie to her so she wont get mad at me. If I don't answer my cell phone or reply to her text messages right away she will be paranoid and think im avoiding her or something and get really mad at me. she is always rude when I hang out with other friends and she hangs out with us. like today, i hung out with a group of friends i know, and i invited my friend to come along because she wanted to hang out but i had already made plans with this other group of friends. so she decided to come with us and was extremely rude to them the entire time calling them childish, immature and stupid to their faces. She is always getting mad at me about stupid things and I feel like she is controlling my life.Whenever she wants to do something with me and i say I cant, i can never tell the truth about why bcuz she'll be mad!help

I have dated a guy from internet dating site for a couple of months. He asked to be exclusive (espicially about sex). We agreed to inactivate our profile from the site ( you can still use the site but noone can check you out). I found him active again after we had argument one day. when I asked he said website mistake. However, it had been about 5 days and he hasn't deactivate it yet. So I activate mine ( I was confused and upset) - I know that it is wrong to keep checking on him. And I think he see me on who checking his profile - he checked mine also. but I don't seeing anyone else since we are still not break up. What should I do? should I confront him? is it possible that he just check around without persuing.? They said some guys just feel flatter just to see women checking on them? you guys probably say that no trust between us -but this is one hurdle for me to go over ..please help!!

Ok so I was on the phone with my boyfriend and he was having one of his friends over. Well we talked for a while and ended with "I love you bye" Then he calls 20 minutes later and says It's over but I can tell it's his friend saying this so I'm like whatever but then he says no really this isn't working out. Only this last time I can't tell if it's my actual boyfriend or his friend so I just hang up the phone and he calls back later..but I dont answer. I don't know, I am so confused right now! Was it his friend joking around or was it real? Some people may know the answer but I don't so please help. I mean I guess he wouldn't have called back right after but still help!!

I have this great guy. Only thing is, the excessive drinking. I'm no prude, I drink socially, but he seems to be out of hand. He told me he was worse before he met me, and that I have no reason to confront him. He drinks before bed, if we argue, whenever he goes out or when he's had a bad day. And its not just a few beers, its ALOT. How can I safely approach this without him accusing me of overreacting? I think if his own mother has said things to him before, that I'm not. But how can I say it? I love him with all my heart and I don't want to see this progress, or have something awful happen to him.
