Ok so I was on the phone with my boyfriend and he was having one of his friends over. Well we talked for a while and ended with "I love you bye" Then he calls 20 minutes later and says It's over but I can tell it's his friend saying this so I'm like whatever but then he says no really this isn't working out. Only this last time I can't tell if it's my actual boyfriend or his friend so I just hang up the phone and he calls back later..but I dont answer. I don't know, I am so confused right now! Was it his friend joking around or was it real? Some people may know the answer but I don't so please help. I mean I guess he wouldn't have called back right after but still help!!

i would wait until tomorrow and if he calls i'd ask him if he meant it. just to test if he was the one who said it. If it wasn't him i'd then tell him i don't like that kind of jokes from his friends and that i am not telling him i dissaprove of his friends, but that since you respect his friends, his friends should respect you. And if it was him then i'd definitely say ok to the it's over part because it is just lame to break up on the phone, and then i'd get another boyfriend with a higher level of maturity.

Well first of all how old are you? If your boyfriend is acting like he's 10, you'd be better off without him.
However, I think his friend and he were pranking you and he probably called back to say that genius remark,"Sike!".
So.. if you still want to be with him (dispite his immaturity..) then call him back and ask what did he call for if it's supposedly "over".
& If he says he was playing... tell him, "Well that isn't funny and if you want to keep playing games it really will be over because I am not going to deal with immaturity!"
Come on now, he's acting like a 5th grader.

Some guys just never grow up they always have to play some kind of game or some kind of joke.........in my opinion even if it is over you should be mad at him for letting his retarded friend do that....i mean if that was his friend and it wasn't a joke like he had his friend break up with you then you are better off because you deff. don't need a guy that can't do stuff on his own....meet him in person and explain that you don't have time for these games and they are very childdish......then ask him if it was him or his friend......good luck.......if you need to talk e-mail me through yahoo answer.......:)

Tell him to grow up and stop playing games. Maybe he is not mature enough for a relationship. You should talk this over with him (in person). It is difficult to discuss relationship problems over the phone anyway. Good luck.

Why would you want a boyfriend that plays with your emotions in the first place. You need to make it clear that if he doesn't want a mature relationship then he needs to be honest with you and let you know instead of playing game so you can move on.

You seriously need to tell us how old you are when you ask this kind of a question.
My guess is that you are about 13. If so, that's very normal behavior for boys that age.
If he is older than 16, then he is very immature.
I'd find somebody better than him, if I were you.

he may have been playing a joke on you but if he called 2 or 3 times it may be over. id get with him asap in person and talk about it
