Me and my boyfriend went shopping for engagment rings, he let me pick the one out I liked, Will he gave it to me I thought we were engaged. We had a fight one day recently I was ready to break it off and said do you want to call our engagement off? He said we aren't engaged I never asked you to marry me did I? Thinking back I didn't hear those words will you marry me? We have since made up but knowing I am wear an engagment ring and its not I don't know what to think. He told me we were never engaged so I asked him what time of ring is this that you placed on my left ring finger and he replied just a ring. I am 46 years old not a kid I have been married before for 22 years I have been divorced for nearly 10 years, has times changed so much that a engagment ring is not an engagment ring. I have been hurt ever sense but can't bring up this issue with him again. Help me out anyone. Has this happen to anyone else or is this a normal thing now?

I obviously don’t have children. I am nearly 30 and am chastised daily for not having children. I get the looks of dismay, disappointment and pity-why? Some people have said “Who will take care of you when you’re old?” “Your married, you need to have a child”. “Children are wonderful, you’re missing out”. “Give your mother a grandchild for god’s sake”. “Can you even have children?”

Aside from fear of old age, responding to a programmed society and accidents, why do people have children? Seeking a logical answer that may alter my opinon.

Well...I have lost all confidence what-so-ever, and I want to know if I still have a few options. In school, there is a guy I like; I hardly ever heard him talk before because he's shy and reserved. His friends however are talkative and he only talks to them and no one else. I would like to start a conversation with him but I only have one class with him and he sits at the very back. (While I sit in the middle of the class.) I know and talk to his friends, but I can't seem to find a easy way to get near him and talk to him. Besides we can't get up much in class anyway...and his friends I talk too, but I don't completely know them that much either.
Is there a way I can start talking to him even though we are always far away from each other?

Okay, Me and my boyfriend Love eachother very much. We trust eachother with everything we got. and Its the best things thats every happen to us.
