How to catch a fish.
1. Get a rod and real (Dress for success - you need to be yourself- hopefully you do not dress like a prostitute - but this type dress catches certain type fish that you may or not want)
2. Get bait ( Have a personality, be confident, smart, stand up tall)
3. Go to the lake (Hang out at Football games, basketball games, school dances)
4. Put bait on hook (Ask a boy to dance, ask a boy if you can get him a soda, tell a boy his pants look great....)
5. Lower in water (Just enjoy being a kid)
6. Wait. (time is just time....no reason to rush...
Remember to throw back the fish that are not to your liking.

Just behave as you would normally behave and go ahead and make friends, as many as you can, before you think about having a b/f.
By making friends first without thinking of being a special, you will have the advantage of learning about boys and their likes and dislikes. If you jump headon into a serious relationship, then you are not giving yourself a chance to assess and have many choices. Go out in groups, and pair up only after you have met the one you think suits your needs best.
Do you want to pick the first one that comes along?
10 different boys will have 10 different wants and needs. So you have to know the individual first, to be able to find out his needs and what he looks for in a partner.
I believe you are still very young. Therefore take your time to enjoy your youth and not be tied down!

well I'm a boy, so find a boy with the same interests as you. Then you can "Accidently" bump into him in the hallway and aask him out. I haven't did that yet. You need to be couragous though. If he says no find another boy you like and ask him out. Boys like sports so do something sport related. Just walk up to him and say these simple words. "I like you and I think you and I should go and become friends. Want to go out tonight?" Never act scared in front of a boy when asking them out or they might reject you. This stuff takes a lot of guts and you need to be couragous if you want a boyfriend. Guys like girls that stick to their personality and don't like it when you try to be someone else other than yourself. Try to prevent yourself from acting wierd in front of a boy and don't say something like this, "Um, c-can you g-go to the p-prom with me?" Don't blush until you know they like you. Don't be shy. This is all what I have experienced, so I'm a boy and I told you everything that occured in my life with girls.

Boys are very literal and very up-front. Guys want girls for 2 reasons: 1 - because she's strong and interesting, or 2 - because she's afraid.
Well, all this kinda depends on how old you are and how old the boy you want is.
I know it sounds totally dumb, but take care of you and let the rest happen.
Wow, and that will never happen: Look the best you can and pretend you don't care.

One thing I would recommend first and foremost is to know yourself. You are asking "what boys want" and that worries me. It sounds to me that you are willing to conform just to have a chance with a guy. Sure, that may get one, for a time, but in the long run you will only get a guy who loves and respects you for you if you love and respect yourself. I definitely also recommend friendship first. That makes for the best relationship.

I can you what boys want they want sex but be true to you and don't give them sex just to get a guy. Be yourself and someone will like you for you!
