My wife isn't pregnant yet, but we are trying soon.

When she does get pregnant, we plan to tell my family after 3-4 months.

Some people told me that a first time grandmother should be told all by herself and not with other people.

What do you think?

I wanted to tell my mother by giving her a card to open in front of everyone.

My entire family gathers once a month and I thought it would be special for everyone to celebrate the news together.

we hooked up twice, no sex just oral. He talks to me through email but now he kind of teetered off and just leaves me alone. We still work together and he emails me that he wants me but he has a gf and feels guilty after we do anything. Am i wrong to persist? My daughter is 19, and will be going to an art college about an hour away. She will be getting an apartment, however, she recently told me that she and her boyfriend (who is going to a college near hers) plan to find an apartment together. This blew my mind.
She and her boyfriend have been dating for about 4 1/2 years, and plan spend their future together, however, they don't want to get married for another 4 years!! She told me it was because they wanted to have money for large wedding to celebrate and they've been committed to each other for so long already, (they've never had commitment problems) that they feel that getting married is just a piece of paper and a few diamonds that say their together. While I know their in love, I cannot support this lifestyle. I KNOW what they'll be doing if they live together, and it's against biblical teachings. My husband and I are Jehovah's Witnesses. Our daughter made it clear to us that she is agnostic.
How can I handle all this?

Last year my friends and I they basically ganged up on me and had a talk about me night. like my whole girl group of friends and ever since then i cant help to think they are talking about me. But sometimes i feel like i am making myself believe they are when they are not. Which is true. I am insecure but i dont come off as insecure. I have been having problems with them and i am trying to improve myself. I feel like i have changed over this year a lot, but they are still in the same place. Is it worth having friends that i dont trust, or ones that dont invite me places, or purposly say things they know would hurt me? Even though i have been friends with them for about 6 years or so.. its hard to let go, though i do have some new friends i am getting closer too and a wonderful boyfriend who is my best friend

I have a friend who is having a party and I told her I had other plans(which I really do) but than changed my mind and told her I was coming. Now I find out that someone will be there that I really don't care for and I'm scared I'll end up doing something stupid (like kicking her a**). So should I not go and have my friend be pissed off at me? My other friends aren't going so I really won't know anyone so I'll probably have to get drunk in order to have a good time. I am a National Guardsman serving in Afghanistan. Since I left home at the begining of the year, all I have heard is "I don't know" when I ask my girlfriend what does she want. She says she wants to wait and see how she feels when I come home on leave. THat is 3 weeks away. She says she hasnt been able to come up with an answer on how she feels about anything. Not sure if she wants to be part of an Army life, not sure if she is ready for my daughters, not sure if she is ready for a real relationship, not sure if she still loves me. Does it really take more then 9 months to figure any of these things out? I need help fast. I go on leave in 3 weeks.

I was talking to Bob on Sunday and he was asking me about marriage. For some reason he said something like, "Well, if I'm not married in 5 years, I'm grabbing you and we're going to Vegas." The more and more I thought about it, the more I got offended. I thought, "**** no! I'm not waiting until I'm 31-32 for this guy--that I happen to love--to decide that he's going to marry me rather than be alone." I'm not saying "Let's get married now." I'm not even suggesting it. Because damn it he should know already. In two years, he should know already if he could see a life with me or not.
