My brother has really been acting like a jerk the past 4 months. He acts like a know-it-all and is just a big fat jerk (he's not fat I'm just so pissed). My parents notice it too. What can I do to deflate his head. How can I talk to him? He is pushing all of his family away..

How about, "Hey you have been a jerk - what is going on"? Very simple.

The best thing that I can suggest is that you talk to him - but at some neutral place. Not at home, because then he can "escape". But first of all, you should try to calm down, because the way you're feeling now (even if it's understandable and justified) will make a mature conversation impossible. Ask him to go out for drink with you, or for lunch/dinner at some place where you can talk but still have some privacy. If all this doesn't work, maybe write down your sentiments in a letter and give it to him.

Can you think of anything that happened 4 months ago that his behavior could be attributed to? Finding the root cause of his behavior (if there is one) could help a great deal.
He could also be at a difficult age, but it's hard to comment on that one way or another without additional information. If you two had a good relationship in the past, try talking to him and explain how you feel. Just be sure to be diplomatic and constructive - you won't get anywhere if you put him on the defensive. It's safe enough to ask him if there's anything going on in his life you're not aware of because he seems different lately, and offer your support - maybe he'll let his guard down.
If his behavior seems deliberate, as if intended to get a rise out of you, control yourself and deny him the satisfaction.

Give him a drug test. I know it sounds grose but if he doesn't flush ask your parents to test his urine. I don't know how old he is. But I am seen kids of the age 9 smoking. And there is another way by just being happy no matter what or where you or the situation is. Positive moods reflect.

Make a point of the whole family ignoring hom. The lack of attention means it will soon stop.

If he's a teenager than what he's doing is normal. Give him his space. And get used to it because its going to be this way until he's probably 18 or so. Maybe longer. You can try talking to him, tell him that you don't know whats bothering him but if he wants to talk to you about it he can. Just don't expect much.

Let your parents handle it. Siblings always get on each others nerves. Just don't hang around him. You have your friends
and he has his. His friends will tell him he's acting like a jerk
if they think he is. Sooner or later you both will grow up.

Maybe the WHOLE family should set the boy down and talk to him about his behavior. They should just tell him that his behavior is unacceptable and that he must change. If not, he may have to hit the street.

maybe you should be a jerk back to him. It's probably just a phase that will soon be over.
