I am 33 years old and husband divorced me a year ago. I am FINALLY getting the nerve to get back out there and have actually found my heart drawn to this really sweet, funny guy but things are VERY different, or so it seems in how guys approach girls they like and who they feel are just friends. MY Question is, He and I have gone out on friendship dates to the movies, dinner, over to my house, etc almost every week since we met. He told me in the begging that he had been hurt before and wanted to make sure that he was friends first before anything else and had things in his head straight. Ok, now here is the weird part, when we hang out he playfully tells me about all these other girls whos "day he made" by complimenting them. Or, this one girl who is living back in California who he is still OBVIOUSLY in love with but she is married and they are supposedly best friends still. but do I need to hear about it? Is this something a guy does if he is trying to get to know me?

When you say you love someone then tell other girls u love em...and call them hot. and good looking.

I never tell any guy i love them, cause i dont throw that word around, and when im with a guy, i dont say other guys are hot.

but if ur in love, would you tell other girls, and flirt, and say I LOVE YOU BABY.

i think its wrong, i want ur opinions.

My parents are going through a lot of divorce issues right now. They've been seperated for 3 years, and barely now they're getting divorced.

In the beginning it was fine, but now it turned into this whole nasty situation. I've always had more trouble at my dad's house then at my mom's, and my mom told the court that, and now we're in the middle of it. We've been in the middle of it since my mom told the court she wanted more money from my dad.

Now my dad is mad at me, so is his girlfriend, and everything is tense. I suffer from panic attacks and this makes everything 10x worse. I cry all day and my dad says he's hurt, and that we backstabbed him or something, because he had also said he wanted us to live with him, but I told him I didn't want to, now he's taking it on us.

We talked to a mediator, and she told us that my dad was passive agressive, but I seriously can't deal with this right now. I'm spending the WEEKEND with him. :[

ive just started seeing this lovely guy!!! we were mates b4 as i met him through trying to txt my ex ..... we have decided that we liked each other 2 much and wanted 2 b more...

I have been dating this guy for almost 2 months and his ex girlfriend is desperatly trying everything she can to get him back. Example: He was at his brother's house tonight and got drunk, she came over and was trying to take advantage of him but he didn't respond to her. He has witness' who were there that said he didn't do anything with her. I believe him and the other people but I have been trying to get him to tell her that she needs to leave him and me alone but he says he doesn't want to be mean to her. I say screw being nice. I am in a wheelchair - no biggie I've lived that way my whole life. Ok, so I was with my boyfriend for about 9 months and we had a great relationship, then about a month ago we started having problems and he has "issues" with my past. Well I have a 4 year old daughter and got divorced from her dad (whom I havent talked to since Oct 2005)before I started dating this. Well now it bothers him that I have a kid and am divorced and he needs to take some time off of our relationship to "rethink" things. But he still wants to be friends and texting and instant messaing me everyday, trying to talk like we are just friends now. He says he still loves me and hopes he doesnt lose me and hopes we can work things out. I any totally devistated by this because I have such strong feelings for him and and truly in love with him...now I dont know what to do? Should I just be his friend, should I stop talking to him all together and give him his space? I miss him like hell when we dont talk because we were friends before all of this. What am I supposed to do?

ok so my mother-in-law wanted to pay me 100 dollars for making her a website. I told her I did not want the money, and please don't worry about it. (I wanted to be a blessing to her - as she has been to us) well she sent the money anyway... well i really don't want to be paid for this(plus i feel bad bc it has taken me forever and a day to do it... and plus it's just a silly geocites website!)

... so anyway I was wondering would it be rude if i sent the money back with a letter explaining that "I would really like to be a blessing, but thank you"

We went through a painful breakup and its just still fresh and everyone time he contacts me for something I am there for him as a friend, we are not intimate at all, but it bothers me a lot, coz i feel stupid though he is the one who hurt me coz of different women and then I broke up with him coz I found out , but I still care for him and also we were together for 4 years and he does not have family locally, and they all live far away...he has a great heart though, but I just cannot deal with me even being there for him..I already said Yes and then emailed him that I just cant do it.

I am so scared to be married. I have been dating a guy since May 2005 and we even went and had a little boy together (on purpose)! In november of 2005 he asked me to marry him and i said yes.
But now all he does is play World of Warcraft and does not give me that much attention anymore. He plays with the baby, but it seems to me that he only wants sex from me. Not to do what we used to while dating. Now i'm thinking this is all i'm going to live for - watching the baby and him playing games.
I'm afraid i've bored him into this! i don't know how but thats how i feel. he knows i have a low selfesteem and do not think much of myself. I just hear so many couples where the girl gets married after having the baby and the guy cheats on her. i'm scared it would happen to me.
I don't know what to do!
