I find it difficult to believe that a teacher would say anything so rude to a student but if she did then you need to report her for it and keep going up. If the principal does nothing then report it to the school board if the school board does nothing then report it to the newspaper. What she said to you is rude offensive and disgusting. She is discussing material that she is not qualified to discuss. You need to bring this up with your parents, the principal the school board and the newspaper also to get transferred out of her classroom as she obviously is not a good person nor a good teacher. It may also mean she has psychological issues, drug problems or thinks that nothig she does will ever get her fired because of the strong teacher union so be sure to tell the newspapers also what she said.

It means your 6th grade teacher must be an asshole. Teachers shouldn't be saying stuff like that! That's just ridiculous!

allegedly there are no dumb people or dumb questions, but you are the exception. What business has a 6th grader in here anyhow...better yet, why did you not report this teacher to your parent and school principal????

Sounds like abuse to me. Tell your parents, as well as your school counselor. If your school is unwilling to do something about it, then go to the school board- what your tacher said is unacceptable, and it he talks to you like that, then more than likely he has abused other students as well. You need to take affirmative action- that is, do something about it, and right away.
