My wife had an affair a while ago and I guess I'm just trying to understand it all a bit more. What was your deciding factor ? why did you end it ? Did you tell your spouse ? Are you still with your spouse ?

I've left home and now at college. My girlfriend is back home. Home is only an hour away. My boyfriend and I had a pretty serious fight last night that resulted in us being up until wee hours of the morning. Anyways, I didn't get enough sleep and I was extremely pissy this morning. I think he got the hint, because after we left he wrote me a text message saying he was sorry. I don't know what to do. I know he probably really feels bad and wants me to forgive him. However, I also feel like he is just saying it so I will say I forgive him and we can stop talking about it. But I don't want to just let it go. I still feel like there is more discussion that needs to be had. I want him to say what he is sorry for, or else I feel like it's not a heart-felt apology but just a way for him to skirt the discussion. So how do I let him know I care, but I can't accept his apology until this issue is really resolved? I want to sound sincere but also serious.

My parents have been married for 25 years. As far as I know their marriage has had some pretty difficult times but they always stick together. Anyway, I knew my dad wasn't too happy and I want him to be happy as he is the best dad ever. I love my mum but I am not happy with how she behaved or maybe still behaves towards him. When I was growing up, I remember when my mum was physically attacking my dad and it left some pretty deep scars inside me. My dad is a pretty sucessful man and I think my mum finds it hard. Anyway, he has tried to leave her as he has met someone else but the whole family stood up against that and he stayed. My dad says that the abuse has stopped but I don't trust my mum. They behave as if nothing is happening when I am around but I am pretty angry about it. I just cannot forget how many times I had to interfere with the scenes at home. But I don't kmow if I have the power to change anything between them? I live abroad but I get upset from time to time about it.

I was married to a controlling husband for 25 years, we had 5 kids together, I found the courage and divorced him two and half years ago. I have been living with my new partner for two years, he is still married and has 2 younger kids. I feel quilt for my ex, my partner's wife and kids, etc. everyone/thing. It was my partners choice to join me, I never asked him, but feel quilt for coming into his life after 27years. Will I ever stop feeling guilt and responsebility!

He sounded so serious and single. I would not trust him in the beginning, but as fate would have it, i gradually fell for him, loved him sincerely only to find that he was just having a fling with me. he is married with 2 children and is supposedly leading a satisfactory marital life. I feel so cheated and guilty about being so overtrusting and naive. the emotional pain is so unbearable. he told all kinds of things which would create sympathy in a woman's mind. I was emotionally attached to him. But he is very playful and asks me to forgive him and tells lets be like brother and sister. Me and this boy have been friend for about a year now. We always kissed each other and felt on each other. Then we finally hit the last step, if you know what I mean. After a week went by, come to find out he has a girlfriend that he's been went for almost a month. I don't know what to do! Should I confront him about it or should I leave it alone?
