Why do you have to ask your hubby if you can have a glass of wine? Do you have a drinking problem? Does he have issues with either of you drinking in front of the children?
Also, sounds like you are having stay-at-home mom issues. Are you doing anything for yourself during the week? Are your kids old enough to be in daycare or pre-K yet? Have you checked out any local church programs "Mothers Morning Out" ? Do you and he ever go out without the children? Have alone time with each other? Look at these issues to see if any apply, because it sounds like More is going on then just being "denied" a glass of wine.

That depends upon the reason he won't let you have a glass of wine. If you have a problem with alcohol then he is doing the right thing. If he is just denying you a class of wine to be mean then he is wrong.

Why the need to ask ? as a mature adult why shouldn't you have a glass of wine, unless of course you have a drink problem. Why not tell him the next time he fancies going down the pub with his mates or of to the footie that he can't !! bet he replies that you are being childish, well inform him that he is behaving just like your two children ! have that glass of wine being a full time mum is hard work I'm not for one minute patronising you as a single parent my self you do need the odd glass or two ! especially when the kids are settled down for the night, now when you have finished reading my reply pop the cork & raise the glass and repeat after me cheers mate & thanx !!

Have a glass of wine if you desire one .You must of course keep your drinking in moderation while you are alone responsible for the care of Children .
Does your Husband drink?
Is your husband home in the evenings ?
If the answer to both questions is yes why should you not be able to enjoy a glass of wine when you feel that you would like one
If your Husband is home in the evenings he should be able and willing to be responsible for the care of the Children
and give you a little respite from your motherly duties.
Good luck..

It's in their blood. I think a glass of wine is fine every now and then. As long as it doesn't become a problem.

Why make the kids a scapegoat for wanting a drink, just have a glass and grow a backbone.

open statement "Why are men nasty?" not all men are the same and it was your choice to stay with the man you have.
You are silly as an adult you can choose what you do and take lead by example. I mean whats he going to do to you if you do drink wine?
