do men like women who wear makeup.i work in beauty industry and wonder if this is off putting to men.i dont wear that much but i wonder if i look too high maintainence.whats your advice/take on this?

For getting attention? Yes. For attractiveness? No.
Beauty can be temporarily achieved through the use of makeup, or war paint as I call it, but I find that true beauty is under the war paint. The war paint can catch your attention, but the natural beauty of the woman under it is what makes us stay.

Most men like at least a little makeup. But, there are exceptions. I think there are way more quality men that like either very little or no makeup than there are quality men that like a lot of makeup.
I suggest wearing what you're comfortable with. If a guy wants you to wear more than that, he better be worth it.

It all depends on the woman!
Some women have a natural beauty that requires very little (if any) makeup..then there are those women that need alot of it just to look attractive.

Depends on the guy. Some like women with no make-up and some do. If you wear little make-up then I don't see any problem. If you want to wear it then wear it. Don't ever let a guy change you or what you want to do. As long as you're not globbing it on, then you are fine!

Verry little and subtle is the key. But honestly for me no make up period is best or just enought to where it makes me wonder if u even have it on at all. Natural beauty is better then fake over make upped beauty.

In my opinion for what it is worth I look at true beauty by seeing a woman without make up. Or those that use very little just to highlight a certain area.

Personally, I think most women look better without it. When I see a woman with obviously heavy makeup, I wonder what is so horrible that she'd have to hide it under so much pancake? Unless you have scars or something seriously wrong, go with very light or no makeup.

My hubby doesn't like me wearing pounds and pounds of make up. A little is okay, but he prefers me natural. Sometimes when I put it on, he tells me to take it off cuz he says I don't need it. I don't know if that answers your question.

Different strokes for different folks some guys love women to look all made up. Some guys want the natural look.

Makeup to enhance features gently and hide imperfections is recommended, but to look made up.... tht's not you anymore
