Can a holiday romance turn into anything more?

Whilst on holiday I hooked up wit this girl from the US and I'm from the Uk, I have since been to visit her and I cannot stop thinking about her, is there anyway this could be more than what it was? Or should just move on? She plans to come see me but not for 9 months.

hey it can work; i hooked up with a woman 5 years ago while on vacation and I still see her once a year - great sex
