My friends (who are black) have told me about how white boys would try to flirt with them but they dont like white boys enough to want to go out with them. I'm black and I have abosolutely no problem with dating guys who are not black- just as long as I'm respected and intrested in them.
do any of u have a problem with dating (or marrying) someone who isnt the same race as you?

I have been dating a great guy for about 7 months now and we have discussed the issue of marriage. He has the idea that due to all his other friends having misserable marriages that he just does not want to go down that road. He tells me he is in our relationship for the "long haul" and could not see himself with any other woman. We are both 34 and I have already been married twice before. I can understand his view point having already been there done that, but I am not sure that I could live with someone and share my life and never marry them. I have a child from the last marriage and I am not sure how I would explain this living situation to her once she is old enough. We have a very healthy and happy relationship now and see us that way in the future. What are you opinions to couples sharing their lives together and never taking "the plunge".

I had an 8 month affair with my cousin's husband. She and I were really close, our kids played together and I was over her house everyday. She thought all along I was there for her, but I was really there for her husband. He is everything you would want out of a man. He told me he loved me. My husband is his sisters idol. Whenever I am around she goes out of her way to exclude me, make me feel uncomfortable or get physically in between my husband and I. I have tried not to let it bother me and I have talked to my husband about it, and he just tells me that she is a very jealous/spoiled person. have a choice of traveling to MI to see my guy... who we may break up in a month or so... he is a great guy but i can't stand the distance...

how do you envision it?
In todays society, they have box's of 45 vinyl records and talk about the war...knit...have perms...what will 'we' be like as the next generation of oldies?

90 years old and complaining cos some old biddy has taken your my chemical romance cd? instead of all in a circle round the tv, ...will we all be loners just pressing *play all songs* on our ancient i pods?? will we be using our laptops and downloading songs from the good old days? like the 80's... will we instead of dusting off our trombones, be tuning our old electric guitars and telling grandchildren that we used to have these HUGE discs called CD's??
will they gasp in horror at our videotapes? and laugh at the size of our monitors in photographs

Here I was working out of the country, I was scheduled to come home on leave. My boyfriend, daughter and I wanted to go on a cruise, so my step-father asked if he could charge cruise tickets on his credit card and keep the cash, which he said he needed badly. I didn't mind. I paid him after I got verification the tickets in paid for in, mine, my boyfriend's and daughter's name. When hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, they canceled the cruise from New Orleans and issued a refund to my step-father's credit card. He refuses to give me the money. Now all I have is this Travelocity Travel Gnome, I got for using travelocity and he has $2,176.00. My mother is a hateful and vengeful person, none of my sisters talk to her or want anything to do with or her. And there is no telling what she will do. My son is begging: Please don't sue grandpa. And I was told just because you win a judgement, don't mean they will pay.

I have dated the guy from internet dating site for a month or so. Every is going great including the sex but he has the past that woman tried to ruin him by lying about pregnancy. So he is really paranoid about the subject which came up too many times after we slept together.I'm on the pills and I don't want any kid. We just agreed that we won't see anyone else. I just found his profile back on the internet dating site that we met. ( we both inactive our profile after we agree). I called and left him short messege ( Hi it's me, can you call me back when you have a chance?).He called and told me that the site is making mistake by activate him again. But he was pissed and yelled at me -messege gave him flash back. He thoughft I was pregnant. I shouldh haven't left it since he told me about that woman.
