I had an 8 month affair with my cousin's husband. She and I were really close, our kids played together and I was over her house everyday. She thought all along I was there for her, but I was really there for her husband. He is everything you would want out of a man. He told me he loved me. He confessed to his wife, and they are still together. Now she will not call me, or have anything to do with this side of the family. How can she forgive him and not me. I know deep down inside her husband really loves me.

I think she has self-esteem issues that make her dependent on him because personally I probably wouldn't speak to either of you. If I did come arund to forgiveness my cousin wuld definitely be before a guy anyday.

You're kidding yourself too much. Put yourself in her place, that's why she's still with him. You crossed a big major line in the sand when cheated with him.

The sooner you get over the fact that you THINK he really loves you, the better off you'll be. And next time, don't go after married men that will tell you anything and everything you want to hear to get you in bed. Any guy you make yourself easily available to will USE you and LEAVE you. He confessed to his wife when he was done with you not because he wanted to leave her for you. He wanted her help to make you go away, he doesn't love you and he never did. Get it, he was done. All this is said to open your eyes and don't fool yourself because when it's over you only have yourself.
Find a little ambition and some pride in yourself, step back, see the whole picture from all sides, find the fool in this picture, it will be you. You'll continue to be the fool as long as you keep thinking that you know deep down inside her husband really loves you. OH, please!
The bigger loser is your cousin, because she lost you, someone she always thought she could depend on and trust. Not to mention the gap this created for the family, I'm sure you are popular with them right now.
You can't possibly think you deserve her forgiveness?

She's probably humiliated, thinking that all along you were there for her but it turns out you were doing her husband....... You guys' relationship will never be the same.

You need to back off. How could you? This is family!!! I know he's not "blood" but your cousin sure is. How could you even think to hurt her like that? I know and understand how people end up having affairs every once in a while but my .........oh this is off the wall. What the hell do you expect? Obviously they have a strong relationship. They are married and you said your KIDS PLAYED TOGETHER!! How are the kids going to feel if they knew about this? How horrible.....you don't live in the "hills" do you????

Oh! should she come and ask for her forgiveness. I guess maybe if the shoe was on her foot you would have reacted in the same way, that she is acting her now. Maybe just give her some time and space, I guess she trusted you and you took it all away by sleeping with her husband. So, I guess you close the door on yourself, now is the time to suck it up and deal with the consequences of your actions and give them space to deal with it. I know you are family and blood is thicker then water, but should you have consider that?.

You must be an incredibly selfish person. She can forgive him because he confessed and is obviously not sleeping with his whore (you) anymore. You are blood and you crossed a line that should never be crossed by family. You obviously still want him (he really loves me). Have you apologized on your hands and knees? I so don't think so!! You are sleeping with another woman's husband which is wrong in the first place. But to sleep with a familiy members husband is donw right dirty. I think that most women can forgive another women over another family member when it comes to this. If he really loved you he would be with you and not your cousin.

It's because you seduced HIM. He used your whore ***- deal with it. He doesn't love you or he'd leave her. He is bound by the WORD OF GOD to that woman.
