Can anyone direct me to a good chat site, without all the usual garbage after 10pm.?

I am fed up with chat rooms that have the one track mind thing going on. I want to make friends with some decent chatters. Where?

Generally speaking, daria, most chatrooms/chat sites do get invaded by weirdos, nutters, bible bashers, etc. at some point.

Sometimes you have to take the rough with the smooth.

Try looking for sites that have a similar interest to your own (as if that's what you're not already doing) and branch out from there. For instance, I'm interested in dementia/Alzheimer's disease, seeing as that's an area that I used to work in. I got involved in a group that offers advice and support and questioned other members as to their favourite [favorite for my American cousins] support groups, etc.

You'll soon find that there's a big world out there.
