What does it say about feeding and caring for children in king James bible?

I want bible verses and or stories about how people are expected to care for, feed and help children. This stems from the question of, "How can we let children starve and not have shelter and love in this world?"

It describes how a vegetarian diet is better than rich meaty ones.


If you really are concerned about your childrens health, feed them lots of whole natural foods, free from processed ingredients such as sugar, flour, processed salt and various chemicals, teach them to excersise regularly and to excersise their minds.

IOW, whole, barely cooked veggies, whole fruits, a little lean meat with no artificial hormones.

I know, that is too difficult.
