My bf and I have been dating for 6 yrs...recently I told him I would like to get married ( I have only brought marriage up once before this time)...he says he is not ready because he isn't financially settled and probably won't be ready to even think about marriage for another 3-4 yrs. I understood his reasoning and decided to give him time...

Well lately, anytime some says the word wedding, engagement, marriage or if a tv show has a married couple on it...he says..."Man, that's when it starts heading downhill." or "Once you get married it's all downhill"...I understand its a joke and I told him he can take all the time he wants ... but not to be suprised if my parents marry me off to someone else (in my culture we have arranged marriages) ...

well today he said that quote again in a joking manner...but then said "Man your the one in the rush for it...I don't see anyone else running to the altar..." What the hell does this mean? Is he kidding around or was he serious?

2nd date went to a late movie with a guy. He asked to hold my hand and I said "no" ....don't know why. Liked the guy. He went out to have a cigarette + came back in + sat in an end seat in the row behind me. I thought I had been dumped! He later said he felt rejected but didn't want to leave me alone there .... guess because it was so late when the movie let out and parking lot was practically empty. What is going on here??

When sitting on the couch my husband will massage my leg or feet. I love getting massages, but sometimes he will go way up my leg or if i'm just laying there he will undo my shirt and unzip my skirt, and massage my back or lower stomach but then after a few minutes he just stops rolls over and continues watching tv, i like getting massages because i often am sore and have lower back pain, and I want him to continue. But it almost feels like my husband is trying to just get a good feel for a few mintues but doesn't really want to help me with my pain.....what is going on here? I end up with my shirt untied, skirt unzipped for just a few mintues of touching......any thought?

is it fair that some people are born into caring loving families and i ended up with an unstable, redneck drunk stepdad and mom that drinks when she visits her grandson baby? is that normal? should i disown her as a mom if she looks at me like im disgusting, never encourages me and lets her husband talk dirty and mlest me when i was younger? sometimes i think she loves me and is the only one i have so its hard to let her go but i feel like i should cuz its damaging me.. help.

We've been married for almost two years and maybe trying to be sexy might spice thing up a little. I'm not looking for ways to have sex, but to be sexy.

I'm not thin - I guess I would be "thick." That's what my husband likes so changing that is not the issue (I don't think). I'm just wondering some things that I could possibly do or say that might make me seem more sexy to him. I went on a two week vacation and sence I've been home out sex life just hasn't been great. I've tried a candle lit dinner with wine, sexy massages with oil, I tried to sit outside with him and look at the stars (I thought it may have led to something more - but it didn't).

Maybe I just am NOT at all sexy to him anymore, I don't know. I caught him with porn and dirty magazines recently so maybe that's just it - I'm unattractive to him now. Any GOOD, well thought out advice would be great - thanks so much for your help.

I'm looking for some ideas and advice - not snotty and rude comments.

y have i been thinking about my ex lately? i broke up with him in April because he didnt come to the dance that i asked him to. I dont why i have been thinking about him though. Like i have been thinking about what our relationship would have been like if i would have kissed him at the bball game we went to ( that was before the dance FYI) he kept touching my arm with one finger it was really sexy i loved it but i think i should have sat closer to him and kissed him then.

I posted a question about PPL calling CPS all the time.
I got called white trash & told to put my crack pipe down,& it was suggested i was doing suspicious things to have CPS called on me all the time!
I am a grandmother,raising 2 grandkids,we go to church.own our own home(Not a trailer)I do not drink or do drugs,I don't go to bars or even have a boyfriend that I can bring into my home & act inappropriately with.
You want to know the secret to why I have had CPS called on me?
Jealousy!
CPS has never found anything wrong.I am disabled & i get a check everymonth.My grandkids are also disabled with severe adhd & learning problems.They each get a check also.We do not get food stamps,but everyone thinks we do.
CPS placed my grands with me,because I proved myself worthy of their love & I am responsible enough to care for them & make sure they get their medicine & go to the doctor.
Now aren't you stereo typers ashamed?

I have been dating this guy for 3 years. His mother and I are very good friends for 10 years. Prior to him dating me he live with his ex for 6.5 years he caught her cheating. Since that time we starting dating his mother, myself and he agreed we would not discuss each other; however, I know from both they disucss me but I can not discuss them. He is a real nice guy he treats when we go out, he buys me and my son gifts. Also we took our first vacation together last month but he never told any of his friends he went a way with me. I have introduced him to some of my friends, yet he has not introduced me to his friends. Lastly, he talks and shows pics of his friends all the time. He tells me about parties that he when to with his friends and their girls but never invites me or introduces me to them. Should I be concerned?

i believe we all know that we are the only 1's who can make our own choices, but this is just seeking advice & there is no reason people should assume other details & then tell you how you SHOULD feel. i DO NOT shuffle men in & out of my childrens lives, & yes you CAN luv more than 1 person as there are differrent kinds & depths of loves with many reasons why. praise those who answer from their hearts, minds & experience. i have not screwed with anyone's feelings & have had my share of trauma & had no choice but to grow up at a VERY young age, NOT even referring to my 8yr marriage & first child at 17, but LONG b4 then. my 16, 13 & 7yr old knew my current b4 it was a relationship. my oldest 2 are from my marriage, my youngest from a sad loser i was with for 5yrs(at least i was blessed w/ her) this is the 4th major relationship i have ever been in, this current 1. there was truly no dood reason to have an EX-fiance, too many things were happening & we made a mistake 2 let it go this far
