yeah, i think most people do. or at least with a parent. i haven't but i would be too scared to have an argument with my dad. When he yells you think he is going to strangle you. It is scary. It shouldn't matter if you get in only one big fight with your father. if he never talks to you again, because of one argument, then that is not the greatest dad. he should love you know matter what. (I am sorry if i offended you) Good Luck :)

I would have to say NOT everyone cause my dad and I get along great and any arguments we have I have to say are nothing big. I'm sure whatever ya'll are arguing about is for your best interest. Life to short ...Take a step back and think about your actions.

I dunno if its true, I know that my dad and I had several, we're both stubborn. Like we got into an argument about it being okay for my little sister who got pregnant at age 17 with a 14 year old who is the father of her kids. And how he took in her child, but I was 18 when I got pregnant and my boyfriend was 19 and we both had plans of getting married and had our own place and everything. He didn't accept our daughter and how he treated me when it happened. Also we've gotten into arguments about him spending Our mom's money (When she passed away her Soc. Sec. Money) on our step sisters and himself and his new wife, instead of us his real daughters and his deceased wife's daughters. Also that he was gonna get rid of me because of his new wife not liking me because I wouldn't call her mom.

That may be. Some fathers don't argue back.
But my father got his filing cabinet kicked in one day (by me) when he didn't give me the answer I wanted or expected. I broke a toe and never kicked anything tougher than a cardboard box since.

I haven't but mainly because he never cared enough about me to even say much.He divorced my mother when i was 16 and fought for visitation rights to see my brothers but never mentioned me.I guess I'm saying arguing is better than not existing to a person.

I don't know if it's true but i do know it's a normal thing to disagree or argue with parents, when you make-up your relationship will be stronger and you both will have more respect for each other.
