I love my Mom still she passed away in 05,but you should love your Mom no matter what because as cinderella says"you don't know what you got till it gone"There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about her.

Yes, love her no matter what, that is a bond you don't break. But, here's the catch to get her to stop taking his side so much. First, walk up to her and tell her that you really love her, and then say "But I really don't like you very much right now". She'll be dumbfounded, but like all mothers, curious enough to ask why. Then you tell her how her actions are making you feel. She may not even realize she's doing something wrong honey. Give her the chance to make it right before you shut off all your emotions to her.

I lived in a house with my mom and step dad. She treated him like a king while we had to walk around on egg shells trying to keep things perfect for him. At times I tried to help my mother out of the relationship. When it didn't work I just started to hate her. In time i began to realise she has no idea herself what she is putting herself through. She can't see it. No matter what you say to people like that, if there not ready to open there eyes and smell the coffee they never will. By this point I just felt sorry for her and loved for being able to put up with such a ***hole in her life. I realized then that it wasn't up to me to change my mothers relationship that was something she would have to do. I could only get on with my life and try to get the hell out of there as soon as possible. I love her to death and no matter what she may go through or what I have to see her go through I will always be there for her. Your mom needs to find out why she thinks she needs this kind of person in her life. My grandfather left my grandmother alone with five kids to raise. As an adult my mom did what ever she could to keep her partners around. I believe they were the father she never had. So no matter how crappy they were she just didn't want them to leave her like her dad did.

i think love is uncondtional, and it is alot different than respect. i think you will always love your mother no matter what she does and even though she hurts you and apparently lets other people say things that hurt you too. but i do know this that you will probably never respects her because she isnt doing any thing worth respecting. im sorry you have to live that way one day you will be 18 and can be out on your own and maybe you will learn from her mistakes and never let a man do those same things to your kids , and it doesnt matter if they belong to him or not..

no where is it stated you must love your family. Some people believe that you should love your family reguardless but you don't have to. I've had a crappy relationahip all my life with my dad but I know somewhere inside he still loves me and cares and we try to get along.. so i love him anyway. Maybe your situation is like that but you are not forced to love anyone.. its upon your freewill no matter what age you are.
