I personally think you are cool as heck. I don't know and haven't met one man yet that does his own washing unless he is older and has lived on his own for a long time or has been married before. You rule in my book. But as a woman, I am used to doing laundry for my boyfriend and I don't mind at all because I love him. I have done alot of my boyfriends laundry and cleaned for them and didn't mind doing it at all. It made me feel good to help them out and it made them feel good. I just think it is a woman's place to do it if she is living with the man or married to him. I personally just rather do it because I know it will be done right and get really clean. Plus it saves on water to do mine and his together. I think you are great for not taking it home to your Mom to do. To me, that is wrong. Keep it up, you're a great guy.

Thats awesome that you do your own. I personally dont let my mom do mine anymore, cause I'm still living at home. But when I live with my boyfriend and then when I am married, I wouldn't mind doing my guys for him. I can see why people do others laundry as well, as sometimes its more worth while to have larger loads going, rather then a bunch of small ones.

I think that's awesome that you don't take it home to mum and do it all yourself! More women are 'into' guys who can and will do their own laundry/wash!! I know I sure am! I do my fiance's laundry/wash because he works such long hours and long days, but he doesn't require me to do them. I just do it because I love him and becuase I don't like to see them sitting in the laundry basket forever until he has the time to get them done.

Good for you. I don't believe its wriiten anywhere that a woman should a man's washing. Just goes to show that your mother taught you well enough that you can manage your own life, including what is commonly known as womens work! You should be a role model to all man!

No we shouldn't, but some still do. You should be responsible for your own clothes, I mean you are the one who wears them. I mean if some women didn't mind, then I guess it would be okay. I think it's awesome that you wash your laundry. :)

If you're willing to do it for her, then I don't see the problem. Just don't expect it to be done for you, which isn't the impression I get from you, by the way. But eventually, if it's someone you care about, I don't see an issue. It should be an equal thing between you.

I think most women would feel lucky and privlidged to be able to handle smell and then burn your dirty stinking laundry...
but, hey that's just a feeling..
