I'm fourten and I've never had a boyfriend. I dont even know how to talk to boys. All I do when they talk to me is laugh and smile. Everyone is so fast and already had over 50 boyfriends. I'm having a hard time deciding to whether or not to give my daughter who will be here anyday her fathers last name or my own. Her Daddy and I plan on getting married but are having problems right now b/c of my family. I'm just afraid that if we don't end up getting married that I will raise a child by my self with a totally different last name than my own. I want to explain this to her father but know he is going to freak out. I figure when we get married it will be alot easier to change her last name to his since he will be on the birth certificate than it would be for me to try to change her name back to mine later on. Need serious opinions plz. Am stressing myself and her out over this, should have thought about it all before I was due to deliver, huh.lol.

We're trying to decide whether to do our pictures before or after the wedding. It's going to be in the late afternoon & into the evening at a winery in the fall. I want to be sure to get all the beautiful colors that will be in the landscaping and don't want it to be too dark outside.

However, I never thought of myself as a bride who would see the groom before she walked down the aisle? Although, I don't think I've really ever thought twice about it. I'm starting to question that now and would love to hear people's opinions.

Any great ideas of how to make that first time he sees me special and romantic if it's not as I walk down the aisle? I'm starting to think that fresh make-up (because I will cry!), fresh flowers and no wait time for my guests sounds pretty good to me!

Convince me! Or more importantly, convince him, as he's more of the traditionalist.

ok my grandma said to me before i was leaving for home you should go to bed earlier then 3 o clock in the morning. you will go to bed in the car. im 15 years old its summer yet and i like to stay up on summer nights. i go to bed like 10 on school nights except weekends, dont you think its the parents that should decide this. do you think my grandma was joking and that i should let this go. also my grandma i dont see often and also i went home with my parents not my grandma. also do you think i should worry about this situation. my grandma dosent even live with me.

Ive been together with my boyfriend for about 4 years, after he got out of prison he was in for 14 years for some robberies that he did back in the 80s. We got together again actually he was my boyfriend I was 18 years old he was 16 we have a daughter together she is 26 this year he also had used drugs back than in the 80s . He was on parole for 3 years got a job and has always gave me the impression of being a very hard and reliable worker. It seems like a little after he got off parole he started his old ways again, I have talked to him over and over again, last night I had a very serious talk with him I even cried my heart out the topic of course was about him using drugs and being irresponsible. I told him that I just can't live like this anymore and said to him if you are man enough you would leave me willingly and go get help. Meaning leave with out a problem, the triplex we live in is under my contract name. Please give me some more advice, i just want my sanity back.

My bf and I have been dating for 6 years...his sister knows I am his gf, and so do his friends...but when he introduced me to his parents he said "Mom, Dad, This is my FRIEND...." I asked him why he wasn't honest with his parents and he said he didn't want to freak them out, and cause problems..."Man, if I tell them that...they might want to meet your parents and fix a date...God know we don't want that right?" ... I actually didn't know what to say or do...

His parents think I am a nice girl, definitely marriage material...they said they would like to meet my parents...but he says he doesn't want them to meet...cuz it will cause more problems...

What hell does this mean? I mean I know he said he isn't ready to get married...but why lie?

Why does it seem impossible to believe that at 25 you can own your own home have cars boat and ect?? i live in australia this is genrally an easy thing to achieve here is it in america??

My husband, and Igot married almost three years ago. We did not love each other that much when we did get married. We married becasue I was pregnant (which was his decision). We ended up falling in love about a year ago. I found my husband on the computer doing his thing while he was on a web cam with anouther girl. I feel when you are young 18-24 you are marrying basically for love, but I feel once you start to get older you still marry for love however you start thinking about the financial situation, what you can bring to the table, and also what the future holds for you lke retirement, kids, college for your kids, how you can make the marriage work together you know different things. When I was yonger and I am now 28 I was engaged to this guy I was really in love with who continued to do hurtful stuff like take from others, manipulate others, and do whatever he could to get ahead, but he would also overdraw his account all the time for stupid ****, spend money on unimportant things but leave his bills unpaid. When we first got together we were 19 and I never looked at things from that point of view, but once I got a clue and said to him I want more in life and that I wanted to live a honest "work for everything life he started saying I was acting stuck up and that I wanted someone with money
