No. I think that if you are married you do not need to date anyone else. If you want to see anyone else you need to get a divorce.

i always thought that being seperated suggested that both people in the relationship have made a decision to go the own way for a while. whether that include seeking other partners, depends on what the seperated couple agreed too. i dont see is as adultery though. the kissing or dating. maybe sleeping with someone though.

yes
you can do what ever you want
you can sleep
have sex
it does not matter
no one get prosecuted for adultry anymore
not even homosexuals in Texas ( see the Supreme court ruling on this )
seperation mean you both apart.. nothing more, you can legally seperate.. but all that does is stop joint credit....and seperates new debt from being applied to both parties..
it has nothing to do with what you do sexually.. you can be a gang bang porn star for all it matters
but you are still legally married..
when you finally divorced.. then neither one of you have anything legally on one another

Separated does not mean divorced. If you date, you risk having your date being named the correspondent in any divorce proceedings. And that date can cost you dearly in child support, alimony, personal assets, etc. You are separating to take a breather from your relationship not your marriage. Time to work out a more amicable relationship in the future - to try and avoid getting a divorce. Don't confuse the two or you'll get hurt.

You are supposed to be working on your marriage if you are legally separated. The separation is supposed to make you appreciate your spouse more and work on getting back together. You are being selfish by thinking you are supposed to be out dating and looking for someone new.

don't think you can consider it adultery. but i wouldn't expect too much out of him, at least not at first. he has to take care of his past before he can true move on with his future. is he really getting divorced, is he really even separated, are there kids involved, who's idea was it, is it gonna be a messy affair or are they gonna act civilized.????? for me i never felt it was fair to get involved with someone til i tied up all my loose ends. what did grandma say out of the frying pan and into the fire. but best wishes sweetie and it's just food for thought cuz he might be one super guy!!!!

Almost any attorney would advise against it, if you asked. Not a good idea. It definitely won't help your case.
