My bf and I have been dating for 6 years...his sister knows I am his gf, and so do his friends...but when he introduced me to his parents he said "Mom, Dad, This is my FRIEND...." I asked him why he wasn't honest with his parents and he said he didn't want to freak them out, and cause problems..."Man, if I tell them that...they might want to meet your parents and fix a date...God know we don't want that right?" ... I actually didn't know what to say or do...

His parents think I am a nice girl, definitely marriage material...they said they would like to meet my parents...but he says he doesn't want them to meet...cuz it will cause more problems...

What hell does this mean? I mean I know he said he isn't ready to get married...but why lie?

ouch. you might want to slowly detatch yourself from him.
he's not gonna marry you, probably never, and even if he does,
he's gonna make you unhappy. come on, you know you deserve someone better. get out there and find mr.right.

Well, it means he doesn't think his parents will like yours...you need to talk to him about what his problem with your folks is. After you get the problems worked out, then maybe he'll be more honest and upfront with his parents.

Parents can be cruel at times and can make it awkward for him when visiting. I have never known anyone who has brought both parents together with the exception of marriage. Perhaps He does not want anyone to get in the way of your relationship. Now that his parents "Like" you (i.e. you've been accepted) he can now tell them that things have moved on and your now going out!...

It means you are wasting your time with this guy. Do yourself a favor and leave him now.
