point of view, how should a girl feel about a guy comparing her, to his mom?? And not in a bad conversation like nagging or any kind of babying type stuff. Just a random, normal conversation. I'm leaving it vague, I know.....

1st how old r u guys?
it depends does he like his mother, if so then
it is said u want a girl that is or was close to her dad.
in the same regard u want a man that is or was close to his mom.
each grows understanding how to hang and treat the other.
if ur man is young and he is not comparing u in a bad way, then its ok. as ur relationship grows he will give u the same respect he gives his mom. this is no different then a girl who is a daddies girl.
if he doesn't like his mom and is saying u r like her then its a bad
thing.
without knowing the point of referance from which it came from its hard to answer

I think he is testing you. I know I test gf's just to see if it bothers them when i compare them, whether to my mom or to other women such as my sisters or their friends. It is a way to find out if there is any insecurity, and also a way to find out if you actually like his mother. He might not be sure if he likes his mom, he knows he likes you, and by comparing her to you, he is really asking you to tell him what do you think of his mom...? does that make sense?

it could be a good thing or a bad thing either he like the idea because every guy deep down knows a perfect girl will be like his mom wen they get older or it could be a bad thing if he had ashitty upbringing in life either just talk about it more causually

according to Freud every man, whether conciously or subconciously, wants his mate to be like his mother. i think its called the oedipus complex. its wierd wild stuff, but you shouldn't be freaked out. if he loves his mother and compares you in a non-nagging way you should take it as a compliment.

Truth be told, men tend to seek women like their mothers and women tend to seek men like their fathers... That is generally speaking, so if it wasn't said in a bad way, it means that he is comfortable with her and that is a good thing for a relationship.
