I've been seeing a nice guy on and off for almost a year now. We're both in our mid-twenties. We hold hands at the movies and stuff but we haven't kissed yet. [Corny, I know, but we're both conservative Christians]. I think we're both really scared of being in a relationship. However, it feels like we've drifted into couple-hood. We can call each other at all hours and we talk nearly every day. I don't think it's wise to just keep drifting along. Nobody ever drifts to the jewelry counter or to the justice of the peace. I think we should make a small commitment to each other because I do want to get married eventually.
Here's the question:

How do I tell him I'd like for us to have titles (i.e. girlfriend and boyfriend) without scaring him off?

I'm afraid to broach the subject because there's so much at stake for me. I think it could actually work with him. I've been burned really badly in the past and am ready to be with a nice guy now so I don't want to do anything to lose him.

As much as I try, I am not attracted to him at all. I think since he is older than I am; he tries to protray himself as being younger and he looks like a fool. for example put on a nice looking jersy short set with socks and sandals. He even put weave in his head. He turns this rap music up as loud as it would go knowing he is on the verge of a heart attack. thats crzy, I don't like that. I like money and he has alot of it, take that away and I don't know If I would give him the time of day. Don't get me wrong I am not a gold digger but pay my way. This weekend was my class reunion. I went alone but he paid for it. The deal was when I return home he would stop all the foolishness and be a strong man. He was suppose to pick up in OKC, I rented a car, so he didn't have to pick me up, he goes to OKC anyway how crazy is that. I tried to call to tell not to come and he turned off his phone. he came by my home later after I told him not to, hide his car, I see him the ran. crzy

ok, i can't seem to get guys to take the hint that i'm not interested! i'm not interested in relationships with these guys because i have a lot going on in my life right now.

the more i push them away and ignore them, the more they 'get in my face'. this reminds me of how guys treat girls, they act like they are not interested and the girls go crazy over them!

what can i do to get my point across more? why the hell are guys acting like this? it's annoying! they are good looking guys and could have any girls they want!!!

I am seeing him for a month now. We let each other know from the first day that neither of us want kid. I am on birth control for years. and he used condom. He kept asking me when I will have my period even I kept telling him that I am on the pills. He said some woman tried to get money from him claiming she was pregnant ( she was not) so now he is paranoid about it. . How should I handle this situation? to make him trust me that I don't want kid and on the pill. Is it OK for him to ask me that, it was very awkward and strange to me even though I understand his situation.? I do want a long term relationship with this guy but let's me know if this is a bad signal so I can move on..Thanks for the answers

So my girls and I went out this Saturday. One of my friends is seeing this guy who we all thought was kinda creepy. But hey she liked him. So he tagged along on our girls only night out. Anyway when my friend went to the restroom this fool tries to go all out and makes a move on my married azz. I set him straight and tell him to get lost. My girl dumps him but she is soo pissed at me and thinks that I did something to attract his Neanderthal azz! She knows me better but I think she really digged him. Now she is threatening to show pictures from my bachelorett party to my husband! I know if she does that, sh!t will hit the fan and my azz would be toast. What should I do now? I've had a crush on this guy at my church for nearly a year now. He and I don't really talk, (we don't really know one another too well) just "Hi" and "bye" if we happen to cross each other's paths. From what I have observed, he's very friendly and talks to lots of people (at church)- except me, of course. In the past few months, my friends and i have caught him sneaking glances at me quite a few times. Sometimes he wouldn't even try to hide the fact that he was gazing in my direction. Other when I was not present with my friends and he would see them, he would act like he was looking for someone amongst them. One time when I passed him he gave me a playful shove. Another time I was holding a paper in my hand and as he passed me, he snatched the paper from me playfully (and gave it back, of course.) Understand, this guy is 26 and I'm 24. So I am a single mother, 29 yrs. old, with two kids ages 11 & 7. I work hard everyday and have been their whole lives to maintain a household for us, and food on the table, but its never enough. I struggle to keep my head above water EVERY day. Deadbeat dad choses not to be in the picture, at all. I am not complaining because we are very blessed to have our health and I am blessed that I am physically able to go out and work every day, dont get me wrong, but I often wonder if I will ever see the light at the end of this tunnel? how can a man just not care about his kids, and not support them, I dont understand his logic. he owes $80,000 in back child support that i will never see, because he works "under the table" jobs, and uses different social security nujmbers in order to avoid having to pay a dime. how can a human being be so heartless? sorry peeps, had to vent! thanks for listening!
