If he tells you he loves you...is it the truth...or a lie....does alcohol make you honest or was it just a crock of ****?

You've heard the phrase that there is truth in wine? I think to some extent it does allow men (and women for that matter) to be a bit more loose with our words, maybe saying things we might only secretly think otherwise. Then again, it can also cause people to say some things they may not even be thinking as they are stone cold sober as well. My best advice is to consider how you and he act and respond to each other when you are sober. Is there mutual attraction? Is the quality of time you spend together strong enough to cause these types of feelings? How do you feel about him?

Could be either. Hell people say "I love you" SOBER and don't mean it and sometimes they don't even know they don't mean it.
For it to TRULY be love- you'll fell it before a guy has to even say it. You won't have to question it because his actions will have already told you that he feels that way. Funny thing is the other day a guy FRIEND drunk dialed and said the same thing "I love you" haha. It doesn't mean anything obviously. So, alcohol can make someone less inhibited and them tell the truth- but if they truly loved you and have been keeping it inside verbally their actions would've already shown you how they feel. You have to look at your relationship and decide for yourself. OR just wait for him to repeat it. OR just ask "do you remember what you said the other night drunk?"

It all depends upon the person! Some of them tell the truth and some are talking s**t if he was drunk he may have been trying to get you into bed with him. Hopefully you didn't do it! Good Luck!

I wouldnt believe it, and im a dude. Nothings really too ligit when your intoxicated, he may have just been in a moment askem about it and put em in an awkward position, or most likly to get a better awesner atleast to put yourself at ease, he may really love you and not able to say it aloud.
