When sex outside of marriage and abortion seem to be more "right" than "wrong," what should parents do to protect their children?

I was approached on the internetby this woman. It is developing into something more than a friendship it seems. She claims that she has always been involved with woman that are older than she is. Never younger and she says that she is not interested in woman her age. I have talked to her on the phone and she seems sweet and sincere. As far as I'm concerned, this would be a sincere relationship. It has not been internet sex via IM or anything even near that. More like pen pals. Started out innocently enough. Any thoughts? Please keep it clean, not interested in any answers that are of a sexual nature. This is a relationship just like any other.

n't coming home, leave me a message so I don't worry, no shoes on the hardwood floors, let me know if we're out of something or if you take the last of something, lock the door before bed, etc. My question is about her having her new boyfriend sleeping over. They have been dating for about 1 month now, and he lives with his parents, and follows their rules. She asked if he could sleep over if it was late and we (my fiance and I) said yes, but because I have guardianship of my nephew, I said not in her room yet. If he'd like to sleep on the couch, or in a spare room, by all means, but I don't want my nephew, whose room is across the hall, to see different guys emerging from her room, so I told her after they had been dating for 3 months he could sleep in her room. I honestly didn't think it would be an issue because the last guy she dated that lived with his parents was when she was in high school, and assumed that she would stay at the boyfriend's apt./house. Does this seem fair?

If you are having sex witih anyone that is not your husband or your wife, you are nothing more than a "prostitute" or a "whore." Why would you do this to yourselves? Is this what you want to offer the person you want to spend the rest of your life with?

My husband has never been a drinker. Even when we go out he normally doesn't even drink. But I recently bought him a 6 pack of this beer he had said that he liked. He laughed and told me that it would take him forever to go through that since he would hardly ever drink it. However the complete opposite happened. It was gone in 6 days, one a night. And for the past 2 weeks he has bought another 6 pack when we go to the grocery store. Now he is drinking one a night sometimes 2. Yesterday something made him mad and he's been pissed ever since. He even almost got into a fight at the grocery store. He has anger issues as it is, but now he's being rude to me. What should I do? I want to pour out the new pack of beer he just bought, because I think that's what doing it to him.

I believe people make mistakes. But as the saying goes:

"Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice shame on me"

One of my best friends is currently in Spain doing a one year course in business. She is there with another friend of hers from her previous university. At the moment they are touring across Europe and I saw her pics and I feel so jealous.
I got married last year and am in North America, currently waiting for my paperwork so that I can start working. I haven't been on any holidays or shopping - haven't treated myself to a spa or had any luxuries since I got married and I feel so bitter. I am currently trying to lose weight and have joined a gym. I am trying to go from a UK size 14 to a size10. I know it's not impossible but it's proving very difficult.

I look at my friends pictures and think that a couple of years ago that was me having fun with my other single friends, travelling etc. Now I feel that I have no identity. It's only when I see her pics I feel like this.

Otherwise I am happily married, I love my husband and we have a great relationship.

My mom will tell me to do something and I just look at it as her being a nag or just don't want to do it because I think I'm grown and know better. Then afterwards, I'll regret not listening and fuss at myself for being a stubborn kid. (btw I'm 23, sad I know huh) I'm a mommy's girl...and she's never steered me wrong, yet I still rather learn from my mistakes. *shrugs*

Just looking for some imput..thanks.

I feel so stupid asking this question, I used to be so independant and had the world at my feet!

My husband gets nasty. On Friday we had an arguement when I was driving. It was because I wouldn't take him somewhere the next morning because I had made really important plans to help my friend as it was her wedding day. He kicked off because he couldn't get his own way and was going mental at me in the car because I wouldn't take him home. I thought if I could just get him to his friend's house then he would be fine and would leave me alone. He tried to pull the handbrake on as I was doing about 40 MPH. Thankfully my car's computer stopped the handbrake from coming on. I shouted at him and he grabbed my arm and pulled me across the car into his seat. I had to go to the wedding with a big thumb print on my arm (very noticable!).

I have tried to leave him before but have never been strong enough to do it. I do love him, but don't think I should put up with this.
