If you say to someone I will talk to sometime soon and he says yes, in a bit. What does this mean?

Let me see...

If you mean that when I say to someone "Talk to you soon" and the person says "Yes, in a bit"
it probably means one of two things.

a) he likes your conversation and is encouraging it.
b) He KNOWS you're probably gonna get back to him soon, like he can predict your next move.

simply that. he'll talk to you soon, he's just not sure exactly when...he doesn't have it planned out. dont attach more meaning where there is none.
