Although it has no monetary value I would say that my most prized possession would be my 25 year AA medalion.
It cost me more realistically than any other thing I may possess. It cost me relationships, trust, dignity etc. while I was drinking. It has since gained me respect, love, loyalty, faith and a belief in myself that I never felt before. Without this simple little recognition from my group for this length of sobriety I would not be able to enjoy the company of my family, my granddaughters would probably not know their papa, and the woman with whom I share my live would not have agreed to be my wife. So although material things may be valued and valuable, and they do play a part of my life also, it is this simle object that I possess that I prize most in my life.
