My mom will tell me to do something and I just look at it as her being a nag or just don't want to do it because I think I'm grown and know better. Then afterwards, I'll regret not listening and fuss at myself for being a stubborn kid. (btw I'm 23, sad I know huh) I'm a mommy's girl...and she's never steered me wrong, yet I still rather learn from my mistakes. *shrugs*

Just looking for some imput..thanks.

because that is how families are. i bet in the 18th century there was a girl fighting with her mom about something, but who knows. i think that it is DISfunctional for a family not to fight, in my opinion.

Time for you to grow up and do as you're told. I think maybe you are just rebelling cause you may think you should be out of the house at 23. You can always say in your mind that this is a roommate situation and you are responsible to do your share of the work to keep the house nice and clean looking for the two of you. Hope that helps you think differently and gets you off your a$$! Hahaha! It's not good to be defiant and you beat yourself up later anyway, so spare yourself the grief...
