I love my husband dearly. He's a complicated man. He doesn't like too much. The only thing he really likes is sports. He doesn't like parties. I want to do something special for him. Does anyone have any unique ideas that I can celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. NOTE: we have been together for 13 years.

1 week ago, my boyfriend of 1 1/2 years broke up w/ me. He says he still loves me, but he's not sure if he wants to get married at all in his life and he thinks this is unfair to me. So he wants to be friends in the meantime and he still calls and tells me he loves me and sends me emails daily. I thought maybe we had a chance at working it out, but last night, a good friend of mine called and apparently, he doesn't need space - 2 days after we broke up, he was on a popular dating site and he hit on my friend (not realizing she's my friend). He doesn't know I know what a liar he is - if he wanted his space and didn't want to spend more time w/ me, then why is he attempting to look between other women's legs for the answer? I know I have to confront him, and get the rest of my things from his place, but how do I let him know I need to see him w/out looking needy or letting him know something is up before I get the chance to say it to his face? Please help - I feel sick over this.

One of my friends, nice male, age 23, dated a girl who was 17. Her parents said wait until she was 18 and he agreed, then when she turned 18, she began to date his best friend, age 24! Then broke up with him, and is now engaged to original male's brother, age 29. The woman in question is tall, gangly, doesn't take care of her hair or skin, wears clothes that are spotted and stained, and is constantly gnawing on herself, biting or sucking her fingers. She doesn't seem to be very well read or intelligent. They are planning their wedding and the circle of friends are not planning to go. I'm just curious about other people's opinions and take on this scenario. Thanks-I know it sounds like a plot for a bad movie. Sometimes life is stranger than fiction.

My boyfriend is my best friend. He's got anger problems. He's on vacation and he's called and emailed and stuff. Well today we were talking on MSN and I mentioned to him that my friend since kindergarten invited me over Friday for her birthday. I told her I'd go. He got upset and said that Friday was when he was comming back from vacation and said he wanted to spend time with me. He didn't want me to go to my friend's and said I could only go if I had sex with her. What the f*ck? I don't get it. Then he threatened to leave me and all of that stuff. I've put up with this for almost two years.

He gets mad whenever I have to do anything.

I don't want to break up with him because well, he's a part of my life and I'd miss him so much. Is he abusive? I'm so confused. Any advise?

My friends new girl friend said she has a major in physics. She only bartends, and when asked why she doesnt do something with her college degree, she says she makes more money bartending. I know it may seem silly, but sometimes I am really thankful for all the wonderful people here that share their knowledge and experiences here on Answers. Yes, sometimes it may be a silly question or whatever, but sometimes you can ask something that really weighs heavily on your heart and mind, something you would ask a good friend, and it seems like you have hundreds of good friends willing to listen and lend some sound advice. Anyone else feel that way? I know I will get some meanies with an attitude ax to grind, but thanks to all the genuine people out there that take the time to share their hearts, minds, and knowledge. Because it is summer, my boyfriend is on vacation (on the other side of the country) with his family. He has been gone for one week and won't be back for another week.

While he has been away, I keep thinking that he doesn't like me. I don't get it; he e-mails me constatly. The only other girls he e-mails are my two best friends; one of which he already went out with.
